It was the last day Jake had at the Safari Zone and he had seen many amazing Pokemon along the way. But either Jake failed at catching any of them or they just weren't /exactly/ what he was looking for. Since it was the last day Jake decided to take Duke with him and explored the furthest part of the Safari zone. Does he find anything interesting while paying his last visit to the safari zone?
Out of the corner of your eye, you spy a male Heracross using its horn to hack a hole in a nearby tree to get at the tree sap under the bark.
Jake only had two days left to see if there was any worthy Pokemon hangng out in the safari zone after many days of failed catches and strategies to catch them. That's why today Jake goes in without any strategy having Croft at his side so he can bond some more with his latest addition to his team.
A curious male Kecleon makes his way over to you, but it’s not you he’s curious about, it’s Croft. Once seeing that Croft is just another type of Pokemon, the Kecleon wanders over to you.
SUMMARY → Madison sets out to explore using her new Silph Scope, and when she bumps into Jake she decides to drag him along with her.
ADDITIONAL NOTES → Written for kipprompt2.
Madison had gone into Lavender Town as soon as she’d received the Silph Scope; it was a nice change of scenery, and there were a good number of wild Pokemon to battle on the way as training. But she’d be lying if she said that her first trip in yesterday hadn’t been a little bit... spooky. She’d gotten a Woobat out of it, fortunately, but she’d also been nearly scared to death when the Pokemon had flown at her.
But Madison McCarthy was tough, and she wouldn’t let a little thing like a heart attack stop her from going back and exploring more. She wished that Mason had been free to go with her, but as she marched determinedly back towards the entrance of Pokemon tower, her eyes locked on another familiar face -- Jake Puckerman. He maybe wasn’t the friendliest guy around, but he wasn’t boring, at least, and the second Madison laid eyes on him, he was a goner.
Jake didn’t seem to have noticed her yet, but Madison skipped towards him, landing right in front of his face, and raised her hand to do a fake knock in the air. She wanted him to go with her into the tower, of course, so she wasn’t as creeped out as she’d been alone, but in the back of her mind there was still her daily desire to get him to finally like Frozen songs.
Clearing her throat and grinning brightly, she killed two birds with one stone when she started singing to him in the tune of ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman’. “Do you want to search for ghostiessss,” Madison sung between giggles, trying to keep a straight face, “Or... um, okay I didn’t get past the first line, but c’mon! We’re going in together,” she informed him, her voice bossy as she linked her arm through his and attempted to drag him into the tower without waiting for his reaction.
