He hadn’t seen the whole fight but from what he could gather it was pretty entertaining stuff. Apparently, two of the guards had started to argue over which of the two of them was better looking in the eyes of one of the Pets. He was assuming the Pet they were trying to prove themselves two was the man standing close by to Gideon. It had quickly become a pissing contest from the sounds of it. One guard screaming about how the others mother was inbred The other shouting guard yelling back about how his cock was so much better at everything cocks do than his was. Inbred or not. As much as he didn’t want to be punished for eves dropping it was hard to look away once the you qued into what was going on. Gideon felt as thought he was watching two trains crash into one another. He should look away, hide his eyes, something but he couldn’t. The horrific nature of the things the two guards were spouting off at each other was sort of beautiful in all its raw disgustingness.
Still, he felt bad for the poor pet that had been dragged into this whole thing. Edging closer to the other, Gideon stood next to him. “Is this all about you then?” He asked in a low, hushed tone. His blue eyes not leaving the two guards that were still going at it. Picking each other apart one angry insult at a time. He couldn’t stop himself from laughing. “They’re ridiculous. All of them.” Gideon laughed lightly still keeping his voice down.
Rebecca stood there trying to ride the pain out for a moment, she needed it to go, but it wasn't not for a moment but then suddenly it passed for a while. Standign thre she looked up before looking up at Jake, "Oh your dad phoned that's cool. Yeah. Just a contraction." She stated looking at him.
Jake glanced over at the girl keeping a close eye on the girl for a moment, truth be told he was worried but he had to be there for her for a moment or all the way through this. "Oh Okay, does that mean the baby's coming?"
Rebecca sighed putting a hand through her hair for a moment and nodded a little, "Yes it means the baby is coming but there is no need to rush, not until the contractions are four minutes apart or when my waters have broken."
Jake put his hand through his messy hair and listened to her and sighed a little, "Okay, well you know if you need anything, just ask, but let me take you to the sofa." He stated taking a hold of her and walking her towards the sofa. "Take a seat, I will run and get the bag ready for when this happens." He stated smiling at his best friend.
Rebecca looked around for a moment, trying to keep her mind occupied as she listened to Jake speak and sighed a little, "Jake all we need to do is remain calm and we'll be fine." She stated taking a seat on the sofa, "Can I just say thank you for doing this and being here."
Jake glanced over at Rebecca trying to put a smile on his face and hide the fear he had deep inside piling up as he worried about what can happen. "I can try and remain calm." He said as he ran to get the bag and brought it back down ready before sitting next to her, "Bex, I wouldn't have it any other way, you're my best friend and always will be." He stated looking over at him.
Rebecca sat there on the sofa feeling the baby move and she was getting uncomfortable, she wasn't sure how long she could take this but she was going to have to try to deal with it if she wanted things to be okay. She smiled over at Jake, "Yeah but this isn't your responsibility." She stated taking his hand and smiled, "Seriously it means a lot." She stated before a sharp pain thrived up her body.
Jake glanced over at her and he could see that she was trying to get comfortable and he knew he was having to remain calm but for how long could he stay calm for, he wanted to be there for her, he wanted to help her but it was hard. He sighed, "Rebecca does it matter who's responsibility it is? Aidens not here and i am and I chose to take on this responsibility and I want to be the one to do it." He nodded as she took his hand before feeling it be squeezed and he sighed looking over at her. "How bad is the pain?"
Rebecca took a breath as she looked over at Jake for a moment before hearing his words and shook her head, "Jake, but you have so much ahead of you and this is your place and I still feel like a burden." She stated running a hand through her hair looking at him for a moment before taking a release once the pain wore off, "A little stronger then the first one." She stated sighing for a moment.
Jake kept a hold of her hand for a brief moment before glancing over at her again trying to keep a brave face on him, "You're not a burden Rebecca, you're my best friend and i wouldn't have it any other way then to be by your side through all of this." He stated smiling a little, "Well do you want all thsi to be over? Because my sister said the way to speed up you waters breaking, was to walk around and dance or do exercise. If you like you can try that." he state placing a hand on her bump and felt the baby move.
Rebecca felt his movements and it was like they were together and she was definitely scared where this was going, he was her best friend, did they need that drama all over again? She chose to nod and not reply to that before listening to him as he placed his hand on her bump, "Well if that's the case, how about we go for a walk around the block and then see what happens after that?"
Jake looked over at her, her face was perfection of beauty and he loved her but he didn't want his feelings to be known as of right now due to the fact that she was about to have a baby and he was the only one by her side at that current moment. "A Walk around the block seems perfect, let's go." He got up before holding out his hands to help her up.
Rebecca threw her head back for a moment and nodded looking at him as she got up with the help of him, she could feel the strain that was but she was ready to have this baby and if a walk would help start labor quicker she would do it. She slipped her shoes on and a jacket on before opening his front door as she walked out with him, "It's a lovely day not going to.." She was soon cut off when she felt another contraction so she just breathed through it.
Jake slipped his leather jacket on before he put his shoes on and then followed her out of the door before seeing her stop and he rubed her back, "Hey just think it's all for the best, if you're worried." He stated looking at her, "I will be here all the way through." He stated as he put a hand through her hair.
Rebecca watched him for a moment as she breathed through the contraction and nodded, "I know and I will be fine for now, I hope but please just be there either way." She nodded looking over at him as they started to walk down the street for a moment.
Jake kept an eye on her as they walked down the road, he was scared, what if her waters broke in public, that would scare him more. He followed her and nodded, "You will be either way, I promise you sweetheart." He smiled as he escorted around the road before they made it back to his, so he opened the door letting her in first.
Rebecca she followed him on the route around the block, whilst her baby was moving but she was just ready to give birth now but she couldn't just rush it. As they made it back to his she felt relief and she walked into the kitchen to get a bottle of water out of the fridge before glancing at him for a moment, the contractions had started again but this time were stonger and she sighed looking down, before letting it go, "Well lets just hope your idea was right." She stated as she felt another contraction and she sighed a little for a moment.
Jake walked into the house placing his jacket onto the sofa before hearing the girls voice and could tell the pain was over whelming her and he rushed into the kitchen to see that she was in more pain, "It looks like they are coming faster, let me call the hospital to find out." He stated as he dialled the hospital number to find out what was going on. He walked back to her once he had hung up, "Okay, Rebecca, they said since the contractions are getting closer and closer together, that I should take you to the hospital. So we're going." He stated
Rebecca out a hand through her hair as she tried to breath through the pain as she nodded at Jake who soon walked off, she was scared, what was going to happen, she had no clue what to do any more and she hated the pain. As Jake returned she sighed and let out a breath and heard his words and nodded, "Okay, let's go then." She stated placing a hand on her stomach as she walked towards the door before opening it and walked with him to his car. Once he had unlocked it and opened the door, she got in and sat there putting her seat belt on by feeling a contraction so she lent forward to breath through the pain.
Jake looked at her and nodded as she agreed to go to the hospital and walked towards the door with her, he wanted to make sure she was okay so he opened the car door for her and let her get in. As he closed it he walked round to his side and got in quickly, "Okay I am going to get you to the hospital as fast as possible, you'll be fine."
Rebecca sat here breathing through the pain and looked at him before shouting, "Just get me there, just hurry up." She shouted looking down before another contraction came on and she screamed, "Fucking hell, this needs to fucking stop." She cried.
Jake sat in the car and heard her scream and he felt guilty he hated seeing her like that but he couldn't do much aout it, "Hey, calm down, you'll be okay, we'll be there in a few minutes." He droe fast enough to be at the hospital and parked in five minutes. As he got there he parked up and opened her door and helped her out, before walking her towards the entrance, seeing her in pain was horrible but he got her a wheelchair and then booked them in.
Rebecca sighed as he drove to the hospital, she could tell he was willing to get a fine or a ticket to get her to the hospital but they were there but the pain wasn't going and she wanted to cry. As he opened her door for her she looked over at Jake as he helped her towards the wheel chair but when she was walking a contraction came through and it was hard to walk but she was in the chair she held on for dear life until they were booked in and taken to a hospital room and waited for her midwife to show up.
Jake pushed her to the room they were assigned and he could till sense her pain, "Rebecca, you need to breath breath through the pain, you'll be fine, you will be okay." He said trying to calm her down before he got her into the room which looked as daunting as possible. Seeing the midwife come in she looked at her and smiled, "Hello Rebecca, you mus be Jake." Stated the midwife and he nodded, "So how long has the contractions been going on for." She asked and he looked at the midwife, "I'm going to say three or four hours now." He stated as he helped Rebecca get onto the bed.
Rebecca looked around the room and then back up at Jake as she breathed through the pain and sighed. As the midwife walked in she put a brief smile on her face then listened to them speak and nodded. As Jake helped her on the bed, she screamed out in a pain. The midwife looked at her, "Rebecca, it's going to be okay, let me see how dialated you are, your waters haven't broken yet have they?" She heard the midwife and shook her head, "No not yet, how do I get them to break?" She asked before the midwife said, "After I have seen how dialated you are, you could bounce on a gym ball it helps trust me."
Jake stood there by her side listening to everything and he wondered how long they would be in the room for a moment, as he let the midwife check out how far along she was, "Well you're 3cm dialated, you have a while to go unfortuantely, don't worry you'll be fine, we'll make sure of it." The midwife stated before he looked at her and he took a hold of her hand, "Ready to get up, let's get htis going." He stated as the midwife brought a gym ball in and he helped her to sit on it.
Rebecca kept an eye on Jake as she listened to the midwife and she nodded, this was going to be a long day and she knew it and she sighed a little before looking up at Jake and nodded, before getting up and going to sit on the ball that had been brought to her and she sat down on it before bouncing on it slowly hoping it would help. Half an hour later she sat on the ball and felt the pin get harder but before she knew it, her waters broke and she screamed a little as she held on to Jake to make sure she didn't slip.
Jake watched her as she bounced on the ball and they kept an conversation going to try and take her mind off the pain and he knew it was only going to get worse. As the time went by he looked her before he heard her scream before he saw the water on the floor and he held on to her as he helped her up, "Come on Rebecca! You need to hel me get you to the bed." He stated before presing the button for the midwife.
Rebecca took deep breaths as she got up feeling all gross with her legs soaking wet from everything and she felt like she should be having a bath right now. She nodded, "Jake.... I can't do this, I can't." She cried as she got on to the bed and tried to stay calm.
Jake looked over at her, "You can do this, I have faith in you." He stated as the midwife walked in, "Hi, So Rebecca, her waters broke." He stated to the midwife who soon went over to her, "OKay Rebecca now that means this is going to move faster and hopefully quicker, let me see if you'e dialated more." She stated and he watched her and he waited, "Well it looks like you've progressed quicker, you're 9cm dialated, not long now sweet. I will be back in a few minutes, just get her some cold towels Jake and be by her side. You're going to have to push very soon."
Rebecca glanced over at Jake and sighed shaking her head before she saw the Midwife and sh wanted to close her eyes and she knew she couldn't, she felt a sharp pain run through her body and she grabbed a hold of Jakes hand and squeezed it tight, she nodded, "How long do I have to wait, because this fucking kills."
Jake saw her pain and he could tell she was tired and as he rain to get cloths he heard her question. He walked in and heard the midwife say, "It can eb anything betweeen five minutes and an hour but I am sure you'll be ready sooner then you think."
Rebecca sighed and listened to the midwife, "Jake, you're nto going anywhere are you? I need you here, I need you by my side all the way through this." She sighed looking at him and the midwife, "Okay." She said as she breathed through the pain of the next contraction.
Jake glanced over at her for a moment, "Rebecca, I'm not going anywhere i promise you. I will b by your side through all of this." He stated as he could tell the pain was getting harder for her but he didn't change anything. The midwife returned and checked again to see if she dialated any further, "Looks like it's time, are you ready to push?" The midwife asked.
Rebecca glanced over at Jake and nodded as she whimpered for a moment the pain was unbearable, she heard her midwife and she cried, "No." She said looking down before hearing the midwife, "You will be fne and you have to this baby wants to come out. You will be fine just wait for me to say to you."
Jake watched her and looked at her, "Rebecca you can do it just be strong." He stated before the midwife said to push, "Come on Bex."
Rebecca looked over at Jake and then the midwife and she pushed hard and she was doing that for about two hours before she gave out one last push. She sighed a little taking a deep breath as she heard a baby cry and the midwife stated, "Congratulations, it's a boy." Rebecca found herself crying full blown tears.
Jake was there all the way through the birth and he smiled when the baby was born and cried, happy that there was no problems with the baby at all. As he heard it was a boy he kissed Rebecca on the top of her head before looking at the midwife as he took a hold of the baby and handed him to Rebecca. The midwife asked, "Do you have a name for him yet?"
Rebecca laid there on the bed and sighed a little and felt the kiss but ignored it, she took a hold of him and smiled, this was her son, this was her baby boy and she was going to love him forever, "Yes. Benjiman Lucas Clarins"
“Ah shit.” Leiths hand shot to his nose, holding it whilst blood poured out. “Goddamnit it. You don’t have a tissue, don’t you?” His voice muffled through his hand, almost not slipping through his slightly shaking fingers, whilst he was fixating Jake. “Man, that’s the third time this week.” Maybe, yes, maybe he was smoking a bit too much but who cared? He didn’t, that was for sure.
Ariella rubbed her belly as she stared at the night sky. Her and Jake were supposed to have a romantic night and she was looking forward to it but she knew that she had things to do. And those things weren't good. She was feeling extremely emotional as she felt tears down her face because she was terrified of what would happen and ashamed of herself for this even being a possibility. Her husband was inside trying to make them dinner and she had been hungry but she wasn't anymore. She needed to tell him now . She sat up and tried to wipe her tears away before calling out for him. She had been feeling extra sick so she knew that this would only make it worse and she had called Lewi in case sleeping at her own house wasn't an option.
Jake was beyond excited that the kids were at Aiden and Kelsey's house. He moved around the kitchen gracefully, being able to make food after a bit of training from his wife. He turned off all the flames and was about to put things on plates when he heard his wife call out. Immediately dropping everything to go see if she was alright. He noticed tear streaks on her face and he couldn't get to her fast enough. Putting an arm around her his eyes widened as he looked at her, "Are you alright beautiful?"
Ariella didn't even know what to say as she saw Jake standing there. Like always, he ran to her side, he ran to make sure she was okay. It made her cry even more because he was the dictionary definition of perfect. She shook her head at him and hugged him tightly, before giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I'm an awful person. I didn't think we'd have to go through something like this, anything like this but I have to tell you the truth." She tried to look at him and kissed him again, trying to do that as much as possible before he got mad at her.
Jake accepted each kiss confusedly, as he held onto her. "Baby girl, I know you're pregnant and hormonal but, you're scaring me. Why don't we go sit inside and talk, okay?" He wasn't sure what was going on and if maybe it was just something hormonal but, he figured they could talk it out like reasonable married adults. He kissed her lips another time, hoping it'd calm her down a bit more so she wasn't so frantic and wouldn't disturb the babies in her belly.
Ariella just held on to him and followed him inside. Him being all nice and sweet wasn't helping. She followed him inside and just held on to him, afraid he'd let go soon. "I know the rumors that go around are just rumors. But...nine months ago I was hanging out with Lewi, working on some stuff like always and we had too much to drink and you know how I was taking those pills more than necessary and I don't know if anything happened....and if it did then there's another thing we'd have to check out...." She looked down at her belly as she rubbed it and then covered her face, afraid to see his
Jake pulled a chair out and sat down, afraid he'd end up passing out or something. He gulped and his eyes were wide and sad as he looked at her. "O-Okay...Well, you don't know for sure and once they're born we could do a paternity test just to see." He was trying to be rational, knowing that this could end up like that Caleb situation from back in the day. He was irrational back then and completely got mad but, he knew from experience that Ariella always thought things happened more than they actually did happen.
Ariella watched him pull the chair out and expected the worse. She knew she was being dramatic and her imagination was running wild but she really expected him to think the worse. She looked up at him and wiped her tears away, looking at him strangely. "I just told you I may have slept with Lewi....Lewi who wants these babies to be his and you're okay...." She knew she should have felt relieved but she was scared of his reaction. She wanted to believe there was nothing to worry about but she just didn't know.
Jake chuckled a bit, "I know I should probably be yelling and freaking out but, Ariella... We don't know for certain if you slept with him or not and there's no way in hell he's going to break up my family, our family, by saying things. I want actual proof that he's the father before I even consider letting him near those precious angels inside of you." He spoke sternly, wanting to get his point across as he has many times before. He had to admit to himself that this was nerve wracking considering she was days away from giving birth and there might be a small chance they aren't his. He bit his lip and rubbed his eyes lightly.
Ariella nodded. "you should....Jake ...it worries me you don't get worried..." She didn't know why she just wasn't shutting up. "I know...I just now they have to be yours. I love Lewi but not like you. I have a whole life with you and that's all I ever wanted and we finally got it but every day I can't help but think that I will screw it up." She reached out for his face and wanted to climb onto his lap but she knew she was too big for that. She leaned in and kissed him gingerly. "I'm just so sorry for everything I do."
Jake accepted the kiss then shook his head. "Baby we can't backtrack in time. You need to stop blaming yourself. I can't see these babies as anyone else's except for mine and yours. Lewi can say whatever the fuck he wants but, like I said, I want tests proving they're his before I even consider letting him near the twins." He felt like he was 17 again, repeatedly informing Ariella that she wasn't at fault and to not blame herself all the time. He put his hand on her cheek and rubbed his thumb against her soft skin, "Please stop blaming yourself for something that might not even be true," he practically begged.
Ariella looked at him and closed her eyes. She nodded. "I know..I know we have to do tests but I don't want it to even get out. It's just not fair for you at all. " She sobbed and kissed him again, finding that only way to apologize. She knew she was getting herself worked up but she felt so guilty for being such an awful wife. "But I just always hurt you Jake." She leaned into his shoulder and stayed silent until she felt a jab in her stomach and winced in pain.
Jake put his arm around her as she sobbed, "Ari, you're also very hormonal so this situation seems like ten times worse to you then it is." He kissed her cheek before continuing, "You're an amazing wife and great mother and no one has to know about this and if Lewi tries to tell people we'll deny it or just not talk about it." He felt her wince a bit and looked at her curiously and nervously, putting a hand onto her stomach, "Are you alright babe?"
Ariella cried again but this time because she was happy and she felt so lucky to have him. "I just..I never wanna loose you and I don't want to mess this family up. I can't mess this up. " Ariella wanted to do anything to make things right but at the moment she wasn't too sure what to say since she was distracted. "Oh no..Oh no no no Jake " She held on to his hand and squeezed it tight as she winced again. "Baby....I think it's time."
Jake stood up immediately, putting both arms out to try and help Ariella stand up. "Okay, you need to breathe and we need to get you to the hospital. I'll call Aiden or Kels in the car." He seemed to be rambling things, waiting for Ariella to make some sort of move. He put one hand on her waist and grabbed her hand with his other, helping her stand up to walk to the car.
Ariella was at a loss of words as she felt the pain intensify and the tears becoming new ones. She had experienced this before of course but no matter what, it was still sort of new every time. She just kept nodding at what he said and squeezing his hand. "Let's just go!" She didn't want to snap at him but she pointed to their room. " I have a bag ready for the twins...I have some clothes there and for me ." She got up and looked down at the wet spot as she tried to waddle to the car. "Please hurry Jake, hurry!"
Jake nodded at her, running to grab the bag of clothes before running back to where Ariella currently was. He helped her walk to the car then get in, before he ran to the drivers side and got in. He turned the car on and immediately called Aiden, finally happy that he gave into technology and got that blue tooth shit. He informed Aiden on what was going on and Aiden was kind enough to keep the kids there instead of coming, considering it was probably too late for visitors. As he drove, a little bit wildly, towards the hospital he bit his lip, knowing that this was also the moment of truth as to who's babies these are. Pulling up to the hospital, he didn't even bother to turn the car off before running towards Ariella's side once again.
ariella tried to keep calm, this was her fourth time around but the pain was slightly more intense than the other times and being emotional didn't help at all. As Jake called Aiden she tried to do the breathing excercises she had been taught but it was harder and she let out a scream as the two spoke. "Oh my god it hurts. One of these babies is gonna be a gymnist and the other great at martial arts, I can feel it." The hospital wasn't too far away, the same one she had been born at as well as Indiana. She tried to get out of the car and was relieved to know that someone immediately rushed with a wheelchair. Then she heard someone else call out her name and she prayed the papparazi would leave her alone for tonight. She could barely handle herself. She reached out for Jake's hand, the only person she wanted there
Jake immediately connected his hand with hers, squeezing gently as a bit of a reassurance that he was there for her. As a random nurse wheeled her in he kept up a small jog to keep up with them. He bit his lip nervously once again, finally seeing a room in sight that will soon be occupied by them. The nurse brought her into the room and Jake dropped the bag of clothes on the floor off to the side. He moved off to the side, still holding her hand, not sure what to do, even though he's been in this place three times before.
ariella closed her eyes the entire time , trying to focus on her breathing. She felt everything going by in slow motion and for a second she felt really happy and excited and now nervous. Despite the kids she already had, nothing really compared to that feeling of having another...and this time two. She smiled to herself and wrapped her arms around her stomach. As they got her to the room , with help she got into the hospital gown and then onto the bed . She smiled at Jake and kissed his hand as the nurse began to hook her up to the machines. As soon as she left the room , she turned to Jake and laughed. "Remember the last time we were here....we were having Indiana nine years ago..."
Jake was brought out of his thoughts by Ariella's words. He grinned and nodded, "God, that was an intense day, but, I got my baby girl and now she's nine." He shook his head in disbelief, at the fact that this much time has gone by and now they're married and have their own army of children. He kissed her forehead sweetly, "I love you, and I can't wait for our babies to be identified and named. I really want to know genders." He chuckled a bit, being impatient for not knowing what the kids will be.
ariella was glad to bring a smile to his face. She thought of that day and how insanely terrified the two had been and it only made her laugh more. They were both so inexperienced but so in love and she had never cried as much as she had the day she saw her little princess born. "She's getting older , we are too. But I'm so happy." She squeezed his hand as he kissed her, not being able to contain all the emotions. "I love you...and our kids are actually mermaids. Surprise." She couldn't help but joke about it. She looked away from him as the nurse came in to check how wide she was. She always felt oddly uncomfortable with this but opened her legs and winced a little . "It's time." She sighed and looked at Jake. "Ready for round four?"
Jake couldn't help but laugh at what she said. He kissed her a few times, knowing that things might get a little hectic during the delivery. "Let's have our next two, uh, merpeople." He squeezed her hand gently as he noticed her wince, once again reassuring her he was there. He looked down at her and smiled, "You're going to do great once again beautiful, and I'll be here beside you, okay?"
ariella nodded and went back to feeling nervous as before. She saw a rush of nurses and smiled at the doctor, laughing again as she realized it was the same doctor that had delivered Indiana. She sort of wished someone else was in the room with her but honestly Jake was all she needed. She held on to him as she propped her feet up and felt the pain for real. Ariella tried to not scream but she was sure her face looked like she was in all sorts of pain. She began to breathe faster, each one shorter as the doctor told her to start pushing. She just hoped it wouldn't last too long.
Jake continued to hold her hand, mumbling encouraging words to her as she began the process of pushing out baby number 1 out of the twins. He nervously began biting his nails, praying that this whole delivery would go well and they could be with their two new babies, naming them and enjoying their company. He gulped as he noticed Ariella was in pain, "Don't worry beautiful, you're doing fantastic," he said encouragingly.
ariella really hated pushing. She was excited for the outcome but always felt so nervous and self conscious under everyone's watchful eyes. She knew this was a process and after every push she got a break and then was back at pushing. She felt like she had been pushing forever and the doctor was telling her that she was close and she felt like it was a lie. She looked at Jake, exhausted and shook her head. She leaned back and closed her eyes, trying to catch her breath.
Jake took a rag from one of the nurses, wiping off the sweat that seemed to be accumulating on Ariella's forehead. He began running his hand across her hair, "Baby, you're doing so great. I know you can do this." He kissed her forehead once again, feeling a little more confident that she can give him the two babies they've been waiting nine long months for.
ariella opened her eye at Jake and nodded. She looked back at the doctor and although she felt like fainting she pushed. She felt different. Maybe it was because it was twins but it didn't feel right. Still she pushed harder and smiled softly when the doctor said "There's a head!" She looked at Jake and kept pushing harder, just wanting this baby in her arms. After a few minutes she heard a crying and cried herself. "It's a boy!" She looked at Jake and back at the baby. As she took him in his arms , the doctor letting her take a small break she motioned for Jake to get closer . "Jesse....Jesse Aiden..."
Jake couldn't help the small tears that left his eyes as baby number one, Jesse Aiden, was now out and being cleaned off. "I love it," he blubbered out quietly. Wiping his eyes he got back to the task at hand, baby two. He kissed her head one more time, "Okay beautiful, one baby down, one more to go. You can do this and we'll be a big happy family." He grinned at the thought, watching over as one of the nurses cleaned off their newest edition.
ariella smiled at the tears that formed in both of their eyes at they looked at their baby. "He has your eyes..." But before she could say anything else the baby was taken away and the doctor looked at her again. "Ready?" She nodded, she was feeling ab it stronger as she pushed again immediately, the new burst of energy fading fast. She got a weird feeling of faintness as her vision got blurry. She heard words but was unsure of what was being said. She just pushed. And pushed some more until a nurse gave her the thumbs up. She couldn't see much but in a few minutes another baby, a girl was handed to her. She smiled faintly and whispered out a few words. "Sophia...Sophia Kelsey." But she couldn't even take her in her arms as she lay back, her eyes half closed and her breathing really slow and short.
Jake smiled gladly as baby number two was out and being cleaned next. He looked at Ariella and his smile fell, as she looked about ready to pass out. "Ariella, beautiful, are you okay? Doctor what's going on with my wife!?" He asked frantically, not sure if this was normal or is something wrong was happening. He could see her breathing slowing down and he began panicking a bit more. The doctors and nurses pushed him out of the way as he stood back with his hands in his hair, wishing someone would just tell him she was okay.
ariella heard things but she couldn't keep her eyes open anymore. She heard the babies crying and the nurses talking and the doctor yelling but the loudest sound was that of Jake's voice. She wanted to call out but she felt helpless and so tired. She couldn't move and the last thing she heard was Jake as she closed her eyes, unsure of what was even going on.
Jake began crying as the doctors and nurses decided to take Ariella away from him and into a different room that was more equipped. He sat down in a chair and put his head in his hands, trying to calm down a bit, so he could update Aiden and Kelsey. He took his phone out of his pocket and called Aiden, who immediately picked up, "Hey Jake! What are they? Are they cute?" Jake couldn't hold back his sob which immediately panicked Aiden. "It's a boy and a-a girl but, they took Ariella somewhere else, b-because she passed out o-or something," he choked out. Aiden immediately tried calming Jake down, trying to reassure him that Ariella was a strong girl who could make it through anything. Jake calmed down a bit and took a deep breath. "She named the babies...Jesse Aiden and Sophia Kelsey are the two newest members of my little army." Jake bit his lip as he noticed that a nurse must have taken the babies out of the room. He sighed as Aiden awe'd, "You put their middle names with our names!? That's fucking adorable!" Jake laughed a bit, glad that he could still go to Aiden when things were bad. "I'm going to get off the phone Aiden, I shouldn't even be on in a hospital anyway...Plus I want to find my babies and hold them." Aiden agreed and they hung up with each other bidding farewells and also agreeing to send updates. Jake sat back in his seat and closed his eyes, beyond scared for the love of his life not being okay.
Truly, Emilia hadn't been sure where she had wanted to go that evening or even what she had wanted to do; she had simply wanted to be anywhere but on set, in her flat or at the gym and so, when Jake had put her on the spot, she had panicked and said the first place she could think of that actually seemed like there might be something interesting there. Chinatown, as far as Emilia was aware, was filled with colours and bright lights in a way that she never really got to see and, yes, it was a strange place to want to spend your Sunday nights but, like Jake had said, it was something different and that was what was important. Grabbing her handbag from the sofa, the actress swiped some lip balm across her lips and headed out without another thought. It was only once she was downstairs and in her car that she questioned whether she should have checked on Ellen first; whatever had happened the previous night had shaken her and, really, Em wasn't all that sure how much help she could be. Resolving to bring her back some take-out, she started up the engine and followed the directions given to her by the satnav.
Once she had parked a bit away and walked round to where “Chinatown” supposedly began, Emilia couldn't help but feel rather disappointed. In photos, there had always been so much colour and bright lanterns, the Chinese-style dragon statues looming in a mixture of horror and playfulness but, where she stood, she could see none of it. None of the red and gold lanterns that google had promised her and the intense scent of oriental cooking was barely recogniseable... Wonderful, she thought, she finally got someone to do something half decent and she'd chosen a night where, apparently, all of Chinatown was closed. Fishing her phone out of her bag, she did the first thing she thought of: complain to Rose “Why is Chinatown closed?” she demanded, almost the second she answered. “I mean, I can't even see the lanterns and – what do you mean where am I? I'm in Chinatown. Yes, just off Charing Cross road... What?” Heaving a sigh, the actress groaned before thanking her friend – although she had to admit, she wasn't pleased at her lack of shock that she had gone to the wrong place – and hanging up, stuffing her phone into her pocket and hurrying back around the corner.
It was so obvious – there were signs everywhere that basically showed her the way – and yet she'd still managed to get it wrong. Rushing down the street, Em cursed herself, the red and gold entrance of Chinatown looming ahead of her. Skidding to a halt, she tried to catch her breath, almost choking on the strong aroma of spices and herbs. God, she was a moron sometimes....
Of course, practice was still scheduled on Valentine's Day. Chris wasn't complaining, because it's not like he had anything to do with that. He didn't have a Valentine or anything, but he had hoped that the Coach would have a heart and just let them get away with not lifting for the day. When he realized that wasn't going to happen, it was extremely hard to focus. Getting to the school, he went into the locker room and noticed a bunch of the guys who looked extremely happy-- which wasn't normal. It must have been because most of them had plans for their lovers that night. Chris was happy for most of them; it was an exciting time to be in love. Most of them would be losing their virginity that night, and Chris felt happy for them. Honestly. Going through the entire practice and lifting was completely draining, and he knew that he should have gotten more sleep than he had the night prior. Chris was always the last one to get back to the locker room to change-- most of the guys had already left to go hang out with their girlfriends or boyfriends. There was one person, however, that took more time than anyone Chris knew. "Jake," He said, buttoning his pants and picking up his shirt to walk over to Jake who stood in front of the mirror, doing whatever he was doing. "So?" He said, with a smirk, leaning against the lockers as he looked at Jake through the mirror. "Did you tell him?"
Ryder rolled over his powow of blankets that were laid out across the floor between the couch and the television, and it's been where he has been spending most of his sick days. Rolling over, he groaned loudly as his back was now laying against the blankets while his head was facing the ceiling. All he's been eating has been soup and some nasty jello because it's been the only things that have been going down. He feels much better and already went to one of those cheap doctors that you can visit at one of the Krogers, and he was still forced to do that.
After looking at his phone, he smiled as he saw his boyfriend's name in his contact. He was finally making things right with Jake, and this time he wasn't going to mess it up. Jake was the love of his life, and he didn't plan on losing him for a second time. As he pressed his boyfriend's number, he sent a text to Jake reminding him that the front door was open as he was too lazy to get up. After that he extended his arms and tilted his head to the right as he watched his television that was showing some odd late night movie.
Violet shook her head, in slight bemusement as she walked towards the trampoline park in Woodstock. Why she had even agreed to learning to do a back flip on a trampoline was quite a mystery to her but at least all the jumping would help her relax a little. In any case, making a new friend couldn't possibly hurt especially as she hadn't met many people in Summerset yet. Tucking a stray hair behind her ear, she walked into the park and waited patiently for Jake to appear. Shrieks of joy could be heard around her and Violet closed her eyes as she enjoyed the last few rays of sunshine of the season.
