Jackson’s 4th Birthday!

Jackson had a fun-filled weekend celebrating his birthday. On his actual birthday, we celebrated with just the “big kids” (Riley went to school), complete with morning donuts, a trip to Top Play, and going out to lunch. 

And more presents and cake after dinner!

The next weekend, Jackson celebrated with his friends, another trip to Top Play, and another Paw Patrol cake! He had a blast!

Riley turns 2!

Our baby girl is TWO! It’s so hard to believe how fast time has flown by! Riley is such a sweet, spunky, sassy, little girl and we all love her so much! For her birthday this year, we started off with tickets to see Sesame Street Live! Riley loves Sesame Street and she was very excited to see all of the characters, especially Elmo and Abby. 

On the morning of her actual birthday, we started off with presents - lots of Minnie Mouse and Little People toys this year!

After Jackson showed her the technique of unwrapping presents, she was more than happy to tear threw all of the wrapping paper! And immediately wanted us to open everything!

After presents, we went to Top Play, an indoor play area nearby. It was our first time visiting and we’ll definitely be taking the kids back many more times. There were two big slides, lots of things to climb on, tunnels, trampolines, a big play house and tiny village, and a toddler only area. Lots of fun! 

After tiring the kids out, we came home for naps and then got ready to celebrate with family. Ross & Kay, Jackie, and Mr. Brett were at the house to help celebrate. 

Jackson helped pick out Riley’s cake - in pink and purple. She loved all of the attention and was a big fan of the frosting (just like mommy). She’s still mastering her fork skills, but she was able to successfully scrape the frosting off of the cake and eat it all first. 

Happy 2nd Birthday, Riley! We love you so much!

Call of Duty rumor already has TOPPLAY fans buzzing about 2020

The reboot nature of this fall’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will continue in 2020, according to rumors that gathered traction in social media and the games press this weekend.As described, the game will be either Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 or simply Call of Duty: Black Ops; but it’ll be set in the Cold War era and include the Korean and Vietnam Wars in its stories. The rumor comes from YouTube insider TheLongSensation, and it’s salient because they previously leaked the correct name of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare before it was officially revealed. And it somewhat aligns with an earlier and more in-depth report by Kotaku that said development on Call of Duty 2020, which was supposed to have been a Sledgehammer Games/Raven Software collaboration, had not gone so well. Treyarch is described as stepping in and moving up the next Black Ops game, which would ordinarily be expected in 2021.Although “Call of Duty: Black Ops” is the same title as the 2010 shooter, there isn’t much of a player base either to confuse or cannibalize with a decade-old throwback title. Going back to the Cold War setting (subsequent Blops were set in 2025 and pushed forward from there) would also justify a reboot branding similar to this year’s no-frills name for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

It’s the “described as even more gritty and gruesome than Modern Warfare” that intrigues me. We don’t know exactly what that means because Modern Warfare doesn’t launch until Oct. 25. Activision has fig-leafed this M-rated franchise’s appeal to teenagers for years, and kids still get their hands on things a ton more violent. But all we need is a think-of-the-kids controversy in an election year over a sequence even more shocking than “No Russian.”

Wreckfest review – the good kind of TOPPLAY car wreck

You’ve got to feel sorry for Finnish developer Bugbear Entertainment. In the early 2000s they gained a solid reputation for their work on the FlatOut series of demolition derby style racers. That got them a gig working on Ridge Racer Unbounded, but unfortunately the game bombed and they never returned to FlatOut, which quickly wasted away under the care of other developers.More message:TOPPLAY MASTERS SOCCER http://cosman.com.tw/

But now, finally, they’re back and thankfully they haven’t lost any of their passion for automotive destruction. Wreckfest is not a complicated game. In fact, you can work out pretty much all you need to know about it just from the name. But just in case anything seems ambiguous, Wreckfest is a racing game in which your ability to purposefully crash into your opponents is just as important as your driving. That doesn’t mean it requires less skill than the average racer, just a different set of proficiencies. We’d also add a fine disregard for the rules, but there aren’t any of those to begin with. Essentially, Wreckfest is a spiritual sequel to FlatOut, which means a mixture of both traditional track races and demolition derbies. PlayStation 1 classic Destruction Derby has always been a major influence for Bugbear and this is easily the best modern day equivalent. But during track races the action is a little more involved and manages to take great advantage of the game’s impressive technical achievements.
