Louis rung the doorbell, a huge bouquet of flowers in his hand. He’d gone with what he thought she’d like, and hope that he guessed correctly. And if not, then he did bring chocolates, too. “Hi,” he breathed, grinning widely when he saw her. “I got you flowers,” he offered the arrangement to his date. His nerves were eating him up, but he seemed mostly composed. Louis considered that a win.
