it's been successfully gifted so i can now share this, my most ambitious crochet project yet! an axolotl hat for my friends' kid - though my friend put it on before her kid got it earlier and from her expression i have a hunch that this might be a shared hat.

I redid this a bunch of times and in the process, accidentally learned Tunisian crochet, and I'm very very proud of it!
