    Thankfully he had already picked her up before, so he had a vague understanding of how heavy she would be. And honestly…not that heavy. Not that it was a surprise. It just made it easier on him when he told her to fall back on his hands. Keeping his arms stretched out with his back to the solid stable surface below, he carefully adjusted her above him. Making sure she was secure and by no means was going to fall. He didn’t want to bust the girl he was trying to prove a point to.

    “See, it’s not THAT weird. It’s like a trust fall.”

     Just longer and has a tiny bit less potential of something going wrong.

     Once he felt confident enough, he started to lower Angel slowly to his chest, then back up. His fingers twitched against her skin as he took a short moment to readjust his grip. Then back at it he went. It took one or two reps to get accustom to the weight of the younger company, but he wasn’t complaining. It was about average with his usual lifting weights. So he didn’t have too much trouble getting to ten bench presses. But just as he pushed for the eleventh, he felt like he had shown off enough. He could go for a few more but right now, he wasn’t entirely sure if she was comfortable being held as she was or that she could potentially fall out of his grip and to the not so soft floor before.
