Looking for a Ranma 1/2 RP partner.
Have you ever wanted to write a story? An RP-type story, with canon and OC characters, but the fandom this story takes place in is so old, it's practially dead?
Have you ever wanted to expand the lore of a set of characters and their setting in a one-shot movie, but the fandom is literally from before/the early days of the Internet, and interest is pretty much nil?
And, then, gloriously, you get a reboot, with the potential of interest in said fandom to finally make a comback? And, it's enough to make this otherwise shy mun force herself out of her shell to seize the moment and make a request post like this one?
I do.
And, I'm shaking in my boots, because I don't normally do this.
But, I'll level with you. Anyone here seen, Ranma 1/2 the Movie 2: Nihao My Concubine? I loved it. But, I also noticed there's a lot of plotholes. Both character-wise and narative-wise. And, I'd love to have that world re-explored.
Anyone who knows me knows I love to write RP epics. (a few of my friends have either been included in or are currently in a few epics of our own making as we speak).
I want to write an epic. I want things to get crazy. I want overlapping plot points, character interaction and development. I want slow-burn romance on several accounts, and a few burning quesitons answered. I want commentary on non-conventional beauty (both male and female), and comentary on gender rolls, but conventional and non.
I want to flesh out a world.
I want a sometimes jukebox musical.
I want girls behaving badly, I want guys behaving badly. I want high-stakes and random insanity.
I want stuff to blow up.
And, I need someone's help.
You see, I got...kinda a rough outline of what I want to accomplish, but the canon characters are a little bit of a closed door to me.
I need someone to play the muses Prince Toma,Saurutaru, Toristan, and Wanton against a set of crazy (and perhaps a bit deranged) OC's (not my main OC. I've got several more.) in a story full of world-bulding lore and shenanigans.
I need someone who's willing to be in this for the long haul, too. Anyone who knows me knows my RP stories can stretch for years. I basically need a literary RP partner. Complete with all the depth that comes with it. And, someone willing to commit to a long-term project. Someone who's enjoys in-depth communication and plotting. Because I certainly do.
