Mackenzie: “I’m really interested in female serial killers. There aren’t as many as men, but the ones who are out there, are pretty savage. These women are angry at the world and it’s extreme how they deal with it, but it’s fascinating. We live in a partriarchial society and have been oppressed. I definitely think there’s a general anger at the world. Anger can be helpful in finding purpose—it doesn’t have to end in murder. I’m starting a magazine for young women this year called Honeysuckle Girl and that idea came from my own anger of growing up in the Midwest and having a very specific female experience.” @schwarkattack #LadyKillers #ToriTelfer / @theubc for #subwaybookreview #newyork 🗽 (at Bedford–Nostrand Avenues)
