the young prince is thrumming with excitement. those who have come with him can probably tell, as it bothers on simply being annoying, though they don't seem to have the heart to break his spirits. it's still early in the evening, but everything he has heard so far signals a great night out, and he wanders through the stalls, trying to find the perfect mask for himself. stuck between two, he decides to buy both of them and is mulling over which one suits him better when he stops a familiar face.
"cailean!" the boy grins wide, and manages to run to them, despite the crowds of people standing in his way. when he makes it there, a mock gasp falls from his lips. "why don't you have a mask just yet? it should be bad luck or something to not wear one..." holding out the two in his hands, one black bear, and the other a tiger, he holds the tiger one out. "you are lucky i have two — take this one. i think it would suit you nice." much too pleased with this choice, he raises the bear one and puts it over his head. "come on- i think you'll look real cool with it." stepping to the side, one shoulder brushing against theirs, he continues to speak, excitement bleeding into his words. his eyes look around to the stalls, fleeting there, and back at his friend as he continues. "how have you been? do you have plans for tonight? there is so much to try — please tell me you don't have many plans."
