And they hang out a lot going golfing havibg fifa matches in one of their hotel rooms or eating together either out or at the track. But they are just really good friends in typical carlando fashion and nothing ever happend between them, they both don't have feelings for each other other than friendship. 🩷 And then you could make it either dando with maybe a little bit jealous danny because he also thinks carlos and lando are courting and maybe even get really angry when he sees carlos with another omega (who is actually his mate) and thats how he learns that they really aren't together and he totally has a chance with lando 🩷 or you could make it norrix with both max and danny always teasing lando about carlos so they don't think anything about introducing lando to alpha martin who is as sweet and kind as always and they hit it off instantly and maybe they overhear lando telling (gushing) carlos about Martin and how much he already likes him and that's how they learn that carlando are actually only friends and they unknowingly played matchmaker for norrix 🩷

Lando and Carlos just clicking when they meet. They instantly know there is a bond there, and despite everyone joking about Carlos falling for his younger teammate, it's really just a brotherly/friendly relationship for them. There is no romance, just friendship and comfort.
Maybe after some unwanted attention, Carlos starts giving Lando little scent marked items or sticking close to him the way he would for his siblings or cousins or other friends. He doesn't mind playing up his alphaness to make Lando comfortable, especially when they're out after races or when Lando moves to Monaco and is living alone. Carlos would absolutely be the type of friend to leave one of his jackets and a pair of shoes there to make it seem as if there was an alpha around just in case anyone ever tried to be a dick about an omega living alone.
It would be so easy for someone interested in Lando to see all of that and go "obviously they're together" and wonder why, after this long, is there no mating mark and be a little pouty about it because fuck they like Lando so much but it's clear he's happy and in love and he has a good alpha.
Until it becomes clear that no, they're just good friends and Lando maybe has a crush on them too....
