for your consideration: beta jannik agreeing to help alpha carlos through his rut because whatever, he's hot, he's promised to behave, maybe they've hooked up once or twice after an intense match when emotions were running high; hell, jannik's stayed with an alpha girlfriend through her rut before, and this—with carlos—is way less emotionally involved, so. nothing will go wrong

Ok but it really is just a tiny thing 🩷 like i thought about danny going to fetch lando from his drivers room because they are both needes for something at one of the first races and he is absolutly convinced that carlos is there with lando because it smells so strongly of him. So danny makes sure to knock and wait for an andwer before he opens the door because he absolutly does not want to see anything 😂 but lando is alone and just scrolling on his phone when danny sticks his head in and when danny asks when carlos left because lando tells him that carlos wasn't there today but danny noticed that the jumper lando is wearing looks a little big on him and when lando noticed him looking he tells him that the jumper is from carlos and he gave it to him this morning because he got cold which just makes danny think they are dating even more but lando was just moaning at carlos he is cold for long enough until carlos got annoyed at him enough to throw his jumper right into landos face 😂🩷

Daniel would be so jealous and confused. Part of him is screaming at him to give Lando his jumper or to come back and air out Lando's drivers room because he can't even smell Lando under Carlos's scent, but the rational part of him is just going "It's a crush, get over it. He's not yours" because Lando and Carlos have obviously been together long before he developed this crush.

Sure, it irrates him to smell Carlos all over Lando but he's not Lando's partner, just a teammate. Carlos is more to him.

Lando is absolutely oblivious to the fact that Daniel is having complicated feelings about it all and to the fact that it seems like Lando is dating Carlos.

He's sitting there all warm and surrounded by his friends scent but kinda wishing that he'd been brave enough to go complain about being cold to Daniel because maybe then the other alpha would have given him his hoodie or a hug

Lando doing his first big like sponsors meeting with McLaren, and he's nervous. He's not great around big crowds. He's still awkward and anxious. He sometimes finds scents in big crowds overwhelming, and he's just not looking forward to it.

But Carlos is there, and they've become close. He promises to help and stick close, and he does until Lando somehow finds himself cornered by a group of older alpha's.

All of which have no problem talking down to the "little omega" or with touching him which makes Lando feel so awkward and horrible. He keeps jumping because he doesn't particularly like touch in general unless he's really comfortable with the person but with strangers? Big no.

By the time Carlos finds him again, Lando is hiding out somewhere and a little shakey because he feels stupid for being upset but also he feels wrong.

Carlos would be so sweet though and patient. Probably a little protective. He'd be great at calming Lando down and making Lando see that it's okay to be upset because those alpha's treated him like shit.

It'd be something like this that makes Carlos offer to scent Lando lightly or give him a scented item because he hates seeing his friend so hurt and insecure.

Heard "i need a hero" on my way to work and giggled to myself thinking about omega lando singing that to alpha carlos as a joke during a drivers karaoke night when they are still teammates 😂😂😂 the others would be so convinced they are a couple then 😂😂😂

Oh god can imagine them doing that?? The faces of the other drivers??? It'd be insanity!

And they'd absolutely think that they are together, especially with Lando pointing to Carlos and Carlos laughing his ass off and eating it up because he knows Lando is tipsy and joking but everyone else thinks "oh, this is so a couple thing isn't it?"

Carlos would 100% act like a protective older brother 🥹 i like Norrix a bit more so I would always choose them 😁 and Lando telling Carlos about Martin would be really cute because Carlos would instantly know that Lando is gone for Martin but of course Lando would be in denial at first 😂

But i think it would also work good with Dando because maybe Lando would be a bit wary with a new Alpha so close to him especially because their drivers rooms are right next to each other and even more so if something uncomfortable with an Alpha actually happend before. So he would take comfort in having something there with him that smells like Carlos or being scentend a bit before he and Carlos part ways. And Danny would be a bit confused because it always smells like Carlos 😂

Carlos would be the most protective of big brothers to Lando, but he would also never overstep. He knows Lando can protect himself, and he respects that, but he'd be right there ready to jump in of the omega ever needed it. He adores Lando and their relationship, and considers him as pack outside of the F1 pack.

Hell, even Carlos's own family adopt Lando as pack and as Carlos's little brother, which Lando hates and adores equally (he could do without the cheek pinches) 😂

I cannot decide who would be better.

Martin would be a lot of pining. It's Max introducing them, and Martin instantly sensing something between him and Lando. He'd ignore the scent of another alpha because they're at an after party for one of his shows, people have been brushing against Lando all night, of course he reeks a little of others, but then he goes to a race, and Lando stinks of Carlos. He sees them interacting and it just shatters him because "Oh, he has someone who clearly loves him and who he loves too", but he doesn't know that Lando is excitedly telling Carlos about Martin and begging him not to "do the whole over protective twenty questions thing" with Martin when they go out with Max after the race.

With Daniel, there would be room for pining but angst as well.

Daniel had a good on the surface relationship with Lando before they became teammates. They didn't really talk, but they'd joke around and sometimes chat, nothing real, only surface level but they got along. So Daniel thought that coming to McLaren, things would be fine but they aren't. Lando smiles and laughs but it's all tight, fake, guarded, and awkward. It's like they've never met, and he cringes away from Daniel as if he can't stand his scent.

Even when they get close, Lando seems to worm his way away from his touches or getting his scent on him, and it hurts Daniel a little. especially after seeing him with Carlos so he starts thinking it's an omega thing. That Lando is in a happy relationship, and is respecting his partner by avoiding other alpha scents.....

Until maybe he sees Carlos out on a date, clearly courting someone and kissing them, and Daniel is blinded by anger because how any one could string Lando along for years and cheat on him is beyond him

I may have an idea for your new anon who asks for carlando 🩷 i like them too both as a ship and a friendship 🩷 so how about everyone thinks omega lando and alpha carlos are secretly dating when they are in mclaren together and also after because lando always has at least on hoodie or a shirt in his nest in his drivers room or is seen wearing something from carlos even after carlos left for Ferrari. And they hang out a lot going golfing havibg fifa matches in one of their hotel rooms or eating together either out or at the track. But they are just really good friends in typical carlando fashion and nothing ever happend between them, they both don't have feelings for each other other than friendship. 🩷 And then you could make it either dando with maybe a little bit jealous danny because he also thinks carlos and lando are courting and maybe even get really angry when he sees carlos with another omega (who is actually his mate) and thats how he learns that they really aren't together and he totally has a chance with lando 🩷 or you could make it norrix with both max and danny always teasing lando about carlos so they don't think anything about introducing lando to alpha martin who is as sweet and kind as always and they hit it off instantly and maybe they overhear lando telling (gushing) carlos about Martin and how much he already likes him and that's how they learn that carlando are actually only friends and they unknowingly played matchmaker for norrix 🩷

Lando and Carlos just clicking when they meet. They instantly know there is a bond there, and despite everyone joking about Carlos falling for his younger teammate, it's really just a brotherly/friendly relationship for them. There is no romance, just friendship and comfort.

Maybe after some unwanted attention, Carlos starts giving Lando little scent marked items or sticking close to him the way he would for his siblings or cousins or other friends. He doesn't mind playing up his alphaness to make Lando comfortable, especially when they're out after races or when Lando moves to Monaco and is living alone. Carlos would absolutely be the type of friend to leave one of his jackets and a pair of shoes there to make it seem as if there was an alpha around just in case anyone ever tried to be a dick about an omega living alone.

It would be so easy for someone interested in Lando to see all of that and go "obviously they're together" and wonder why, after this long, is there no mating mark and be a little pouty about it because fuck they like Lando so much but it's clear he's happy and in love and he has a good alpha.

Until it becomes clear that no, they're just good friends and Lando maybe has a crush on them too....
