Warnings: Stalking. Yandere Behavior. Mention of murder.

The Torn Prince would follow you absolutely everywhere. He’d be out of sight most of the time, but he’d want to be near you even if you didn’t know it. And when you can see him, you can bet he’ll be leering.

If you notice him leering at you or following you and choose to ignore him, he’ll make himself much more visible. 

He wouldn’t hide how much he didn’t want anyone else to be into you, even once you get together. You’d get plenty of ghostly, “who is that?!” “Why were you talking to them?” type questions. But also that 50s slang sometimes makes it funny.

He’d sometimes take your things without you knowing, only to return them later. So if you’re missing something, it’s probably hidden away.

It wouldn’t be just your things, though. The Torn Prince would also cut off a piece of your hair when you’re sleeping or save a tissue that has your blood on it.

He’s definitely down to kill anyone who tries to get too close to you. Or, in the very least, terrify them so they stay away. It doesn’t matter who they are, either.

“You’ll always be mine, baby, even when we’re floating up in the clouds.”

Being a ghost hunter and discovering The Torn Prince (Part 4)

Your meeting with Cyrus didn’t pan out like you thought it would. He already knew a lot about ghosts, but he was very interested in Royce’s actual location (and how you’d managed to properly subdue him.) He wanted you to take him to see the spirit. It was odd considering his resources that he came to you. Surely he could do exactly what you’d done with your limited supplies.

“Royce is a more violent spirit than I’ve encountered before. It is my belief that having you there will act as a buffer to make him quickly compliant.”

“I don’t think that’s going to help, but we can take you to him. I’ll have to confer with my group first.”

“Of course. I’ll reach out to you soon.”

It was agreed upon that Cyrus would meet you all near the site and then you’d take him from there. None of you were entirely trusting of him. You brought all of your equipment along to capture the exchange, of course.

You would first exit the vehicle some distance away - alone - and draw Royce out. Once he was subdued, then Cyrus would be allowed out.

On sight, Royce was still ready for the attack. He did seem to hesitate before coming toward you, it seemed. Or perhaps you were imagining that? You certainly didn’t imagine the cocky smirk he gave you.

Once the spells began to play and Cyrus approached, his demeanor visibly shifted. Although he couldn’t attack, he looked more than ready to.

“So this is Royce. Marvelous.”

Prompt: Imagine the Torn Prince being obsessed with you.

Warnings: Stalking.

Ghosts bound to Earth tended to hover near places that were familiar to them. For the Torn Prince, that was a now vacant plot of land that had once been the high school sports field. Rarely did anyone pass by. Except for you. You walked by the field several times each week. He knew that you could see him. He didn’t know why, but the first time you’d passed by, you paused and the two of you made eye contact. He’d walked toward you, and was surprised when you didn’t run. It was only when he brandished his bat in your direction that you backed away. 

He thought it was fun. Sometimes he’d watch you, sometimes he’d get close. He’d gotten bored with that, though. He didn’t want to hurt you, per se. He didn’t know what it was, but he decided to follow you. He stayed behind, unsure if you were aware that he was there or not. Either way, he kept on your trail until you were home, presumably. He stayed outside for a while, watching your shadow through the windows. 

Soon after, he followed you anywhere you went. Now he knew you were aware of his presence. He could see you looking over your shoulder for him. 

‘I’m still here.’

You even confronted him, which he found greatly amusing. “Why are you following me?” You’d asked him. 

‘Because I want to.’ 

You asked him to leave you alone, explaining that there was nothing you could do to help him. Of course you couldn’t help him. He had no intent of asking such a thing. He grinned at how silly you were.

‘Wherever you go, I’ll be right behind ya.’

Is this blog still active? (and if so, do you have ships between the ghosts? )

I like the idea of a ship between The juggernaut and the jackal, probably because of their height difference. Not romantic though, just as very best friends Who terrorize people together.

And also I ship the Torn prince as an older brother type to The first born son

Anyway it was all a metaphor for privilege and breaking the cycle of abuse, was it?

Or should I say breaking the Cyrus of abuse?

Idk maybe I read too much into it, but “privileged rich man captures abused outcasts and mentally ill people for his bidding and keeps them in glass cages” is a juicy concept.

I love your interpretation of the movie! I like the idea of the privileged abuser, although some of the ghost don’t fall into the categories of mentally ill or outcast. I like the torn prince, for example. He was popular as well as a gifted athlete. Although since they are all ghost who are the mercy of someone who is able to control them with magic, I guess they can all be considered wronged for being forced to be cogs in cyrus’s machine.

Being a ghost hunter and encountering The Torn Prince (Part 3)

While the spells kept the ghost from taking a swing at your head, you were able to, “interview” him. He could communicate, though not clearly. Although he was calm, his voice was difficult to understand out in the open air. It came like waves; the words lost in a distant scream.

You kept him sated for a very brief time - just long enough to get recordings on all of your instruments. Then you got back in the car and drove off, not stopping the tapes until you were long gone from the scene.

Reviewing the tapes took longer than you expected. Not because it was particularly difficult, but because you didn’t want to miss anything he might have tried to say.

You learned that his name was Royce and that he’d died in a car crash. He couldn’t remember much of his life - but, bat in hand notwithstanding, you gathered that he’d been a baseball star when he was alive.

After compiling all the data you and your team were able to gather - both video and audio - the next step was, naturally, to post your findings up online. It received the usual amount of attention you’d become accustomed to. Plenty of criticism but a fair amount of excitement to coincide with it.

Time passed and before long, the clips of Royce were old news in the supernatural community. So you were surprised when you received a call from an unknown number. Mostly because typically all communication happened through email and message boards. Phone calls were rare.

“Have I reached y/n?”

“Speaking. How can I help you?”

“My name is Cyrus Kriticos and I’d like to discuss your discovery of Royce. Are you available to meet with me?”
