it’s my second day back in school, which means intense ballet classes 6 days a week! i was a little nervous to get back into dancing since i had to rest for a whole summer to get my tendon healed up. i’m in the worst shape of my life, but i am itching to get in the studio and get my muscles back!

so incase anyone out there has a torn tendon that is having trouble healing, i definitely recommend PRP (platelet rich plasma) treatment. it is expensive, but TOTALLY worth it. pray for me as i enter my 3rd year of college that i stay healthy with no major injuries!

I know I mentally have what it takes to be a professional dancer, but my body consistently tells me otherwise. The multiple x-rays and MRI’s prove that body can’t handle the physical demands of the ballet world, and that saddens me greatly. However, that won’t stop me from trying. All my life it’s been my dream to dance, and I will fight every obstacle in my way to make that dream come true.
