Rey had imagined that Luke’s training would get rigorous after a while, but this was just plain tedious. She was on Garel now, sent by Luke there to ‘meditate’ in an environment that wasn’t Ahch-to. That seemed to be all that he was willing to teach her, useless meditation and simple Jedi tricks she was sure she could have easily learned on her own. Luke refused to teach her what she knew she needed to know, to learn the ways of the Force that could aid her in battle. There was no denying that the Fist Order would come after her and Luke Skywalker again, she felt the need to be ready for that moment. To be ready for when Kylo dared to show his face again.
At the time now she was making her way down the mountain range she had been traveling upon to find a place to meditate. Rey was exhausted from the long trek up to the top, not to mention that meditation seemed to drain her of any energy by boring her with the same thoughts over and over again. As she reached the end of the trail she noticed a ship landing nearby, one she recognized immediately. Rey practically had to hurl herself behind a cluster of boulders to cloak herself from whoever was exiting the shuttle now. She knew that was Kylo Ren’s command shuttle, but why was he here? Did he know that Rey was nearby? Worry stirred her thoughts around as unclipped her saber from her belt, clutching onto the hilt tightly as she tried to peek around the corner to see the ship once more.
"Think you can hide from me?"
“Not for LONG, it seems.” He sneered, turning to greet the familiar voice. “But I imagined that I could delay the inevitable for just a touch longer. It seems that I was very much mistaken. So what is it, Ren, what is this matter of import that is undoubtedly going to consume the greater part of my exceedingly busy day?”

“Just how did I wake you up? You certainly don’t wake up this early any other day. Why, it’s only just before dinner time!”

"I think Armitage is a stupid name. I'm angry that I even looked it up on your personal file."
“Go back to BED, Ren.”
