Guess who showed up tonight?! OMG I’m so glad. Because - we also had this show up:
When the ‘take cover immediately’ alarm went off on my phone, Mom and I headed to the safe room which is a walk in tornado shelter built right off the carport. When I opened the house door, Kitt ran by us and into the house as fast as he could!! I was so gobsmacked, but couldn’t stop.
After it was all clear, we have been having a wonderful reunion. He looks thinner, but otherwise fine. I had begun to accept that I might never see him again and had even put away his bowels this afternoon.
BUT - one more thing showed up tonight. The coyotes.😲 Sounds like this.
First time I’ve heard them loudly yipping and yapping right across the road this year. So, either the tornado or the coyotes scared him enough to make him hightail it home tonight. I just hope he stays put for a while now.
