Samurai 8 Chapter 21
This week’s chapter shows the team in the Battle Royale. We get the rules from from the organizer, about how everything works. Hachimaru has developed a thrill to fight. With the few encounters we see, he is becoming more “aggressive”. I think this “thrill” is what is driving him. Because he is not being attentive to anything but slashing. I know he is motivated to push forward, in order to get the organizer on his team, but I think his love of fighting is growing as well. I do like that ever since his father died is is trying a little more to be thoughtful, and polite. His character has changed but the power can hurt you, if you get too much. The kids still has a ways to go.
On the other hand Ann’s apprehension is growing. You can see from the being of the chapter she is nervous about being here. Hachimaru’s response wasn’t to comfort her, it was more focused on her helping him fight. And can I say that I am excited about seeing what’s going on inside of Ann’s head ( and it not being about Hachimaru). *AND THAT SHE HAS A BROTHER WITH A POSSIBLE TRAGIC BACKSTORY* need to know about this. I wouldn’t mind a few flash back chapters about her honestly. If they are gonna build up Hachimaru, they have to build on her as well. We need another flashback for both of them.
What if her brother is Ryu? And she doesn’t recognize hims either because it’s been so long or she never met him. And Ryu’s tragic story is linked to his amnesia, so he would remember her anyway. It’s a stretch but we will see.
The Honorable Samurai and his princess are gorgeous 😍😍. I feel like she may be a higher ranking princess because of her outfit. They are so elegant. Honestly if Hachimaru wins the duel by his shear power alone. I could say BS. I predict he would win through some other creative way like with Ryu. Kishimoto-sensei is always creative with his fights.

Tournament Takers (Shop Idea)
Here's one for you DM's that want a shop where people bet on fights.
The Tournament Takers, is a collective of many different small fighting groups who situate themselves in the building. Each group has their own specific day of the week that they do their events on (excluding Thursday, which is blank to allow the book keepers to make sure that other bookkeepers aren't doing corrupt actions). If someone wants to attend one of these fighting events they will either have to pay a small entry price & or place a bet on a fight that is at least three times larger than the small entry price (they do this due to people using the old system of allowing any bet takers in, lead to people placing small bets to get around entry prices.). If someone's bet is correct they will receive their payout three days later in the mail.
