five headcanons !!
tally was PSYCHO when she was pregnant. she spent the entire nine months reading every book on pregnancy and parenting that she could get ahold of, she cut a million things out of her diet, she did weird ritualistic things that were supposed to promise she would have a healthy baby, and avoided any sign of danger at all cost. but, she still managed to keep exceptional grades and when her water broke during class one day, she sat through the entirety of it before getting to the hospital.
tally’s extremely allergic to cats and dogs, making it nearly impossible to visit anyone’s house when they have one. if there’s a pet of some sort anywhere near her, her throat begins to tighten sometimes faster than she’s able to realize what’s going on. she always has an epipen on her, and has had to use it on multiple occasions.
tally lost her virginity when she was 18, to her best friend’s dad. they aren’t exactly friends anymore.
the only reason tally is so hard on herself, is because her parents instilled that on her at a young age. she’s never been able to please them, no matter how much she’s done or how hard she tries - they always seem to think that she could have done more. because of this, she has a really hard time acknowledging when she’s achieved something, or admit that she’s proud of herself. if she got a 99% on a final paper, it could have been 100% and that’s just not good enough.
tally is a really great cook, and she’s mostly known for making a soup that will cure even the worst of hangovers - which comes in handy quite often for herself and her friends. ingrid doesn’t like anything tally cooks however, which is extremely frustrating for her. she’ll often have three or four attempts before she finds a dinner that her two year old will eat.
