"In 11 days, my sweet baby boy will be 6 months old. That also means I will be 6 months postpartum. Since I delivered my son I have dealt with pp depression, I’ve dealt with anxiety on a small level, I’ve had a really hard time learning to love myself and my body again and I’ve had a hard time controlling these hormonal emotions. 6 months later and I’m still trying to find a balance. Every day I look in the mirror and see my stretch marks and loose skin, I see my c-section scar and my saggy boobs from breastfeeding my babies. Every day I try harder and harder to love my body, this body that created life not once but twice. This body that cares, nurtures, and loves these little babes more than life itself. As time goes on, it’s getting easier but I won’t lie and say I don’t wish I had that perfect, tight, no stretch mark body I used to have. But that also means I wouldn’t have my two little babes and life wouldn’t be as fun without them. Being a mother is the biggest blessing God has given me and although this pp has been a challenge, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m looking at brighter days, I’m enjoying the little moments and letting go of things that don’t matter. My son and my daughter love me no matter how my body looks. And they are all that matters💙💜" - @dawnbythe_sea ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . . . . . #houseofanesi #torontostartup #loveyourself #selflovefirst #selflove #selfloveclub #bodylove #bodyimage #bodyimagemovement #health #freedom #womenhealth #beyou #momy #newmom #instamom #girlboss #womenstartups #beautifulbody #beautiful #goddesses #beuatifulpeople #inspo #inspirationalquotes #repost #beautyintheeveryday #inspiringconfidence #mom #stretchmarks https://www.instagram.com/houseofanesi/p/BukU6imjFe3/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=15lx516svnj0m
