Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Taken on 07/06/2020. Valperga is a small village about 35 kilometres north of Turin in the historical Canavese area. It is an hour's hike from Sacro Monte di Belmonte, a site of pilgrimage and worship that offers some of the best panoramic views of the plain of Turin as well as the Sacred Valleys. The village itself can be recognised from quite a far distance thanks to a 62-metre high bell tower of the Parrocchia Santissima Trinità church. Made of 556,000 small bricks and 2,690 large bricks carrying 217 steps, it is an excellent example of engineering going back centuries (to the 18th Century according to the panel beside it).
