Ex-Fiancé Satoru Gojo and boyfriend Jin-woo Sung despised each other. The two could barely stay in a room by themselves without bickering. It was an everyday struggle for both, but what kept them in each other’s presence was their pretty girlfriend. After encountering your Ex-fiancé on a trip to Japan with your boyfriend, you realized there were still some feelings there. It wasn’t enough to pull you away from Jin-woo. Call it greed, but you wanted them both. When faced with the question of who was taking you home, you choose to be alone rather than hurt the other who wouldn’t be picked. Fortunately for you, neither man was willing to let you go. So thus, begun the 3-person relationship. The men might hate each other, but they’re completely obsessed with you.
After almost four months together you were finally starting to get annoyed at their bickering. At first you found it funny, like two friends playfully fighting, but then it got worse. Sneak disses turned into full blown insults, and small pranks turned into screaming arguments. What pushed you over the edge was when you came home one night, and they were having a shoving match. Jin-woo had a bruised jaw and Satoru had a swollen eye.
Sometime had passed since they had that fight. Their beautiful faces fully healed. You had a plan to combat their hatred for each other because if they could only stand you there was no hope for the relationship.
It was an early Saturday morning. You had woken up next to Satoru since it was his day. That was another problem. They couldn’t even sleep in the same bed, so the guest room had to be occupied by Jin-woo and you swapped beds every day. You caressed his sleeping face.
He stirred a bit but tucked his face back into the pillow. You pressed a kiss to the tip of his nose, a small smile forming with he let out a hum. You slipped out the bed and used the bathroom and brushed your teeth before going into the kitchen. You weren’t surprised to see your other boyfriend cooking. Shirtless and in a pair of black pajama pants, he showed all the precious abs he had. You tip toed and wrapped your arms around his waist. “mmm you’re cold,” you mumbled into his back.
He chuckled, “yeah, it’s cold in the house love,” he turned the heat down, “are you hungry?” he turned in your arms. His black hair fell into his eyes a little, but you could still see his gray hues. You nodded, standing on your tippy-toes so he’d kiss you, “yeah?” he mumbled before kissing you.
You deepened the kiss, running your hands through his undercut. He groaned, pushing you back into the countertop. You giggled and pulled away when you accidently put your hand in some of the pancake batter that had spilled onto the counter. He pursed his lips, “I forgot to clean that,” he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, “here, let me clean it,” he grabbed a towel and wiped your hand, “how’d you sleep?” he kissed your knuckles after cleaning your hand, “he didn’t snore you awake, did he?”
“Jin-woo…” you sighed. You pushed past him, “let’s not start this morning please,” you grabbed a plate and started to stack some pancakes on the plate.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t trying to start anything,” he placed his hand on your lower back, pressing a tender kiss to your head.
You sighed, “when Satoru wakes up, I’d like to talk to you two about something,” you sat down. He stiffened, mind racing, “love—?” he paused putting his food on his plate, “I hope it wasn’t what I said.”
You shook your head, “I just want to chat.” Jin-woo nodded and sat down beside you. Moments after he sat down, Satoru slumped in.
“<3 why’d you leave me?” he whined before flopping his weight on your back. He buried his head in your neck. You chuckled, bringing your hand to pat his head, “I was hungry.”
“No excuses, you were supposed to cuddle for at least ten minutes, I was so cold without you,” he let go and sauntered to the pancakes. A low groan erupted from Satoru, “you seriously couldn’t fix at least one extra?” He held the plate to Jin-woo.
“Pretty sure you’ve said I can’t cook multiple times,” he sipped on his coffee.
“Because you can’t.”
You rolled your eyes. They went on for a while. Satoru grumbling about making his own pancakes, and Jin-woo throwing shots about what dishes he was going to clean. It was all childish. “Stop! Just shut the fuck up!” you yelled. They both stopped what they were doing. Their attention turned to you and in an instant, they were by your side asking what was wrong. “You two are what’s wrong. I can’t live like this anymore,” you pushed past them. Your breakfast was long forgotten, only having a few more bites left, but you were tired of them.
They followed you as you stormed into the main bedroom, “pretty, talk to me, what’s wrong?” Satoru begged. “Love, let’s talk, are you okay?” Jin-woo added. You guided them to sit on the edge of the bed next to each other.
“I want you two to be friends. Our relationship doesn’t work if you two hate each other. I can’t keep dealing with the petty arguments and fights. I thought you two liked each other enough when we first started this journey, but if I knew it would cause this much heartbreak, I would have never even suggested it.”
“Are you breaking up with us?” Jin-woo asked.
You shook your head, “not if we can fix the issue at hand.”
Satoru lowered his head, “so what are you saying?”
“I’m saying I have a plan and if you two can’t come out of this plan being friends then there is a possibility of a break up.”
They both straighten up, “what’s the plan?
You grinned, “I’m glad you asked.”
~
After freshly showered, you all gathered back in the living room where you enacted your plan.
“<3 when you said you had a plan I didn’t expect that your plan included handcuffs,” Jin-woo groaned. He lifted his left hand and Satoru’s right hand came up.
“They’re kinky I kinda like it,” Satoru waved his hand.
You pressed a kiss to his cheek, “I’m happy you like it, because you’ll be attached to each other all day!”
“Hell no,” Jin-woo tugged on the piece of metal, “<3 I’m sorry, we won’t fight anymore, please don’t do this to me.”
You cocked your head to the side, “I’d love to believe that beautiful, but I don’t,” you kissed his cheek and pinched it after, “the two of you will stay like that until I deem you to have made up. Oh, and I’m going out with my friends today so you two will also be going out. I’ve planned some activities for you guys, the museum, a walk in the park, a mall trip, and dinner. You will be back here by ten o’clock tonight.”
“That’s a lot to do in a day, can’t we just stay home?” Satoru pouted.
“No.” You grabbed your purse, “now come on my darlings, I’m going to drop you off at the museum.”
“Can we stop and get some breakfast? I still didn’t eat…” Satoru raised his hand. Jin-woo huffed and tried to cross his arms.
This was going to be interesting.
~
Satoru and Jin-woo didn’t know what to expect when their girlfriend dropped them off near the museum. The places she wanted them to go was all in walking distance of each other, so it wasn’t like they needed to drive or anything.
Satoru was doing better than expected. He was in a cheerful mood. Jin-woo struggled with not having as much mobility as he liked. He liked having his hands in his pocket, and Satoru was swinging his arm with every step he took.
“Can you stop swinging that arm?” Jin-woo asked with an annoyed huff.
Satoru sighed, “I can’t walk?”
Jin-woo shook his head, “whatever, let’s just get this over with.” They entered the museum, paying their ticket fee and heading in. They received some stares, but no one bothered them.
The museum wasn’t anything new to Satoru since he’d taken his students there before, but Jin-woo having not been from Japan was surprised by some of the artifacts.
“This country is beautiful, but it makes me miss home,” he commented as they passed a sculpture.
Satoru glanced at him; he was genuinely taking in the sight. He couldn’t help to find the small smile that crept on Jin-woo’s face to be kind of cute. “Well, we’ll be in South Korea in 2 months, so you’ll have to show me your museum.” They had agreed that six months would be spent in Japan while the other six would be in South Korea. Your idea of course, but it was the only way you could satisfy them both.
“Yeah… I haven’t been since Jinha was a little girl, maybe it’ll be nice to show you and <3 around,” they continued to walk around. Satoru pointed out little facts that he’d remembered sometimes even pointing out the things his family had donated.
“I forget you’re rich,” Jin-woo said once they were out of the museum, “family ties, right?”
Satoru shrugged, “it’s not everything, but it’s a nice lifestyle,” they made their way to the nearby park, “it’s not like you’re completely broke either.”
Jin-woo cocked his head, “I had to work for my money, being the president of a company isn’t easy work either, but I owe most of my success to my friend, Jinho.”
“Either way we both have plenty to spend on our wife,” Satoru smirked.
Our wife? Jin-woo lips curled a little, “I appreciate the way you speak of her.” He had always liked that Satoru put your needs over his own, though he knows little about what caused your breakup in the first place, he could tell Satoru’s mind was always on you.
“—what oh—yeah, always,” the tips of his ears turned red, and he looked away from Jin-woo. “Well, we’re in the park, not sure what we’re supposed to do now.”
“We walked through the park, so we’re done, we have to go to the mall now,” Jin-woo pointed towards the mall in the distance.
Midway through Satoru started to complain, “ugh this metal is starting to itch.”
Jin-woo paused and took his hand, “it’s because you’re tugging away, it’s starting to rub against your skin, here,” he pulled Satoru closer, their faces inches apart, “keep your hand next to mine and it won’t rub, okay.”
Satoru’s eyes widened, “yeah—okay.”
They started walking again, this time closer than before. Anyone passing by couldn’t tell that they were handcuffed together. They looked like two peas in a pod. Satoru’s heart raced. His brows furrowed. He hadn’t had this feeling in a while, not since you came around. He always felt his heart thump faster when you were around, but this—this was new.
Jin-woo was also in his head the entire way to the mall. He hated Satoru, or at least he thought he did, so why was he at peace with his presence in the moment? He chalked it up with being tired and doing it for you, everything he’s doing is for you. At least that’s what he’s telling himself.
Soon enough the two made it to the mall. As soon as they entered Satoru was dragging Jin-woo into your favorite department stores. “She has enough pairs of underwear, Satoru,” Jin-woo grumbled. “She can never have too many!” Satoru didn’t mind the weird stares of the other customers. Jin-woo, on the other hand, could sense their confusion. Two men handcuffed together, buying lacy lingerie. Who were they to judge, right?
“She’s also running out of her favorite perfume, so let’s go there next,” Satoru chimed as he swiped his black card for the ten new pair of lingerie they got you. Key word ‘they’ since Jin-woo picked out five and Satoru picked out five.
They stopped by the perfume shop, taking their time to find the ones you like. Satoru had almost all of them remembered, he made sure to buy extra of the one he personally liked on you. “This would smell kind of good on you,” Satoru held it up.
“Kind of?” Jin-woo smirked, “I don’t smell good now?”
Satoru blushed a little, “I didn’t say that,” turning away, Satoru composed himself. He cursed himself for not having anything witty to say. He wasn’t aware that being around Jin-woo this long would have him feeling this way. He could smell that woodsy cologne he wears. Had he always had such pretty eyes? Satoru internally brushed it off, it was the forced proximity.
Jin-woo watched him with a glint in his eyes. He noticed Satoru got flustered like you when he would tease. Getting Satoru flustered seemed to be the only way to shut him up. Maybe he’d have some fun with this. He never noticed how gorgeous Satoru was until he analyzed him picking out scents. There was a reason you were so smitten by him. It had to be the charm and the fact he was so—pretty.
The person behind the counter eyed the two men. Jin-woo crossed his arms, forcing Satoru’s right hand to be held back while he placed the items on the counter, “You find everything alright?”
“I think so, I’m debating on this scent though because I’m not sure if it’s too strong or not,” he pointed to the cologne he’d picked out for himself, “my wife doesn’t like overpowering smells and will get migraines if it’s too strong.”
“It should be fine, this scent is super easy on the nose,” The salesperson started scanning the items, “also can I just say I admire your boldness to do kinky stuff out in the open, god forbid I put a leash on my boyfriend,” they grinned.
Jin-woo turned to Satoru with a blank stare, “it’s not kinky…”
Satoru shrugged, “It’s kind of kinky,” he paid.
The salesperson nodded in agreement, “you two are icons…”
“We’re leaving,” Jin-woo pulled Satoru out the store. “Thanks! Have a good day!” Satoru yelled to the salesperson.
“Sheesh you don’t have to be so mean Jin-woo,” Satoru leaned his arm onto his, “lighten up sometimes, will ya?”
Jin-woo pushed him off, “not everything’s a joke Satoru,” he tried to keep his head down, “…and I’m not mean.”
“Could’ve fooled me,” he mumbled. There he was being cold again. Satoru couldn’t figure him out. One moment he was saying suggestive stuff, next moment he’s pushing him away. What was he doing wrong?
“How did I end up like this? Stuck with you and dealing with your irritating personality?” He wasn’t sure who to blame, you, Satoru, or himself. The truth was no one was to blame. He wasn’t even sure why he was acting this way. Satoru had been a pain in his ass from the moment he came to Japan with you, so why was he feeling bad for being ‘mean’?
Satoru gasped, his bottom lip curled, “words hurt ya know! If you don’t want to deal with me then maybe you should break up with <3.”
Jin-woo stopped in his tracks, “that’s not even an option, don’t even joke about that,” he jeered. Satoru put his hands up, “I’m just trying to save you the pain of dealing with me since I’m not letting her go a second time,” his blue eyes peering into Jin-woo’s sharp grays.
Their intense stare off was interrupted by Satoru’s phone going off, “speak of the angel,” Satoru answered your facetime call.
“Hi my loves! How are you!? Oh—” you paused upon seeing the deep scowls on their faces. Jin-woo was turned to the side, Satoru pursed his lips, “it’s going good so far,” he lied.
“No it’s not—oof,” Jin-woo’s shin was met with a swift kick.
You frowned, “guys the day’s almost over, do you need me to come pick you guys up?” They could feel your disappointment. A lump formed in Satoru’s throat, “no, no we’re just disagreeing about what store to go in next, it’s nothing serious.”
“Don’t worry about us, love, we’re getting along just fine,” Jin-woo squeezed Satoru’s cheeks, “just peachy, right, toru?”
“Right, Jin!”
You grinned, “you two look so cute! I have to go, the girls are waiting, I’ll see you at home! Love you!” you blew them kisses. Satoru caught them and blew them back, “love you more!”
After you hung up Satoru let out a dreamy sigh, “she’s so cute, I feel bad for lying to her.”
“We technically didn’t lie, we were doing fine,” Jin-woo started to walk again. Satoru reluctantly followed behind him. Jin-woo’s arm bent at an awkward pose. He spoke first as they walked out the mall, “listen, I’m sorry for what happened back there, I shouldn’t have said those things.”
Satoru nodded, a small smile forming as he caught up with him, “I guess I can go too far, I’m sorry too.”
“I’m sure you’ve noticed I’m a very private person,” he scratched the back of his neck, the tips of his ears burning a bit, “I don’t like calling attention to myself, so this is out of my comfort zone.”
Satoru chuckled, “I don’t mind the attention, though I do wish it was <3 in these cuffs and not us,” he let out a defeated sigh.
Jin-woo grinned, “I’m sure we can still make that happen.”
He beamed, “ah-hah, I knew there was a freak in you somewhere.”
“Oh, that’s right, we don’t uh—you know—see each other,” Jin-woo’s cheeks flushed red again, “in bed I mean.” They never all slept together. It was either a Satoru night or a Jin-woo night.
“I’m sure we can still make that happen,” the white-haired man repeated. He loved the semi-shocked expression on Jin-woo’s face. He had him right where he wanted. He’d taken a liking to the dark-haired man and was eager to see why you loved him so much.
Jin-woo cleared his throat, “yeah, maybe we can.”
~
“Now I understand why <3 told us to dress up. This is a fancy ass restaurant,” Jin-woo commented.
“I taught her so well!” Satoru’s eyes brimmed with happy tears, “don’t worry Jin-woo I’ll pay.”
Jin-woo shrugged, “I was going to make you pay anyway.”
They weren’t in full suits or anything, but you had made it clear that you wanted them to be somewhat dressed up. Satoru’s clothing choices were never a problem, he liked wearing his designer outfits. Jin-woo’s weren’t either, but he dressed business causal for this dinner, adorning a blue button up with black slacks. Satoru wore his light blue button up with black slacks. They were a matching set from the beginning.
Upon entering they were greeted by the hostess. “Reservation should be under <3,” Jin-woo told her.
She looked the reservation up on the tablet, “I have you guys right here, follow me to your table,” She led them to the table, “here you are—uh,” she paused at their deadpanned stares, “is this alright?” she started straightening the condiments and the napkins. The table was small and only sat one person on each side.
“It’s just—can we get a seat together; we’re kind of chained together at the moment.”
The hostess eyes widened, “oh yeah of course, so sorry about that,” she moved them to a spot that that sat two people on each side.
They ordered their food and ate it when it came out.
“I’ll be glad when we can take these off,” Jin-woo groaned, rubbing his wrist.
Satoru shrugged, “if it makes you feel any better, I’ve enjoyed our time together.”
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but so have I,” Jin-woo smiled, “I guess I was so annoyed that I had to share, I wasn’t looking at the bigger picture.”
Satoru agreed, “A lot of the times I picked on you was because I was jealous. Here comes this handsome man to swoop all <3’s attention away. I just didn’t want her to choose you over me,” he admitted.
Jin-woo nodded, “when we first came here, I knew she wanted to find you, she said an ‘old friend’, but I knew she meant you, it’s the first time I realized I loved her, I didn’t want to lose her. It’s so strange, it’s like she has a hold on me.”
“I think she just does that to both of us. It’s like we’re both meant for her. Perhaps we’re all meant for each other,” Satoru suggested, his face getting closer to Jin-woo’s.
“Hmm that’s probably right,” he sat back, “either way I think we’ve been looking at this all wrong.” Jin-woo grazed his fingers against Satoru’s, “don’t ya think, Satoru?”
Satoru gulped, “I mean, if this is your way of trying to flirt it kind of sucks,” he teased, “but that doesn’t mean it’s not working,” he whispered.
“Yeah? Is that right pretty boy?” Jin-woo whispered back, “why do I get the feeling this was the plan all along?”
Satoru let out a low whine, “c’mon man, I’ve been tryna bang you all day—well since perfume shop.”
Jin-woo sighed and pulled away, “tsk, you should really show some restraint Satoru, we’re still in public you know…”
~
The night ended quick after the restaurant. The two returned home in a uber, sharing kisses they should’ve had all along. They ended up tangled with each other in bed.
Jin-woo pulled away, slightly breathless, “I think our wifey ’s home,” he mumbled after hearing the front door open and shut.
“Mmhmm,” Satoru pulled his lips back to his.
You hummed to the song stuck in your head. You hadn’t meant to be out so late, but time with the girls got away from you. You tossed your various shopping bags on the floor in the living room. The house was eerily quiet, “Jin-woo! Satoru!?” you called. Your brows furrowed; you knew they weren’t still out. You grabbed the key to the handcuffs. They were bound to be sick of each other and probably wore themselves out arguing.
After finding no trace of them in the house you decided to check one last place, “loves?” you pushed the main bedroom’s, Satoru’s bedroom, door open. “oh…”
They finally pulled away from each other, “sweetheart! you’re home!” Satoru sat up.
“I told you that,” Jin-woo grumbled, tossing his free arm over his eyes.
Your eyes widened, “I guess my plan worked,” you let out a shocked laugh, “I’m a genius.”
“Yeah, yeah can you unhook us now?” Jin-woo lifted their hands up.
You jumped to uncuff them. You rubbed their red wrists, your grin never leaving your lips, “I’m so happy you guys are getting along!” you nearly cried. You hugged them.
“we are too, pretty,” Satoru pressed a kiss to your cheek, “but I think you owe us for this little stunt.”
Jin-woo clasped the cuffs around one of your hands, “wait!” you called out, but Satoru was already pinning you to the bed.
“Let’s see how long she lasts in these things.”
