oh, not at all! it was really fun answering those. thanks a lot for leaving an ask!! 💗
2. Favourite part of writing.
definitely writing those moments that are the most vivid in my mind, the moments from which the story came to be or the ones i’m looking forward to put into words. they might not be the most exciting scenes, might not even have any action at all, but they’re the ones that make writing so pleasant.
(i can literally imagine two characters walking in the woods and write a whole story out of this and the most enjoyable part would be the wood scene.)
20. Post a snippet of a WIP you’re working on.
When the road curves and thins in between the trees, Kageyama stops his music and yanks his earphones out. The wind blows south and the trees swing under its call, yellowed leaves cling stubbornly to their branches. They’re going to fall soon, cover the land in red and yellows, and then autumn will hug the forest in a cool embrace.
Kageyama likes autumn, likes wearing his uniform without overheating. Mornings here are cooler, the chill sweeps in the muddy ground and keeps the towns, huddled among hills and trees, colder. The leaves block the sun, keeping it above the trees, as if another world exists under it. A quiet world, where Kageyama is alone, and volleyball no longer exists.
33. Do you listen to music when you’re writing?
yes, finding the right songs can definitely up my productivity when it comes to writing! they help my imagination big time.
44. Best piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten.
when people call my writing poetic, my heart melts. but generally - any most feedback is good feedback, i love reading comments, or tags, or discussing on private. it all makes me extremely happy!
also, i recently got really detailed feedback on one of my fics by a beta i’m working with for a bang and, honestly, i don’t think anyone has ever spent so much time/effort on my work. i greatly value everything she said!
45. Worst piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten.
i haven’t really gotten any negative feedback.. or negative in a way that’d make this list. i’ve had mistakes being pointed out to me, but in a way that would allow me to improve.
54. Any writing advice you want to share?
don’t force it, write when you want to write. writing shouldn’t be a chore or something unpleasant, and if it is - think about why that is. also - inspiration comes from many places! don’t be afraid to find it in other written work, too. you can take small bits and pieces from others and make them yours. personal style is influenced, inspired, gathered like little puzzle pieces from all around and that final picture - that’s yours.
