there's no way Mina doesnt have some sort of complex about her quirk
like. its acid. ACID!!
we don't know enough about what's considered a "villainous" quirk or not, but I'd bet money Mina's had to deal with shit because of it.
In fact, i like the idea of Mina misleading people into thinking her quirk is just her heteromorph traits.
her appearance walks the line---most of her heteromorph traits are just humanoid (human-passing?) enough to be palatable, but i really doubt it takes much for the bigots to come after someone

I think Mina's bubbly personality is partially a defense mechanism. it's not like its wholeheartedly fake, but it plays it up to make it more likeable. Mina is constantly playing a game so ingrained to it's almost forgotten it's playing one
i think Mina's less human than she lets on, also--she's got a far bigger vocal range, (please imagine her chirping like a cat) and a larger range of mobility. Mina's also got natural resistance to quite a few kinds of poison/chemicals.
Additionally, i think Mina's acid affects her whole body--she has acidic tears, acidic sweat, acidic blood. In fact, i think there's a vial of Mina's acid somewhere in the infirmary, next to several pints of her blood, in case of an emergency where Mina needs more blood than they already have stored up.
Mina has a complicated relationship with her quirk and her humanity. On the one hand, it doesn't want to be seen as dangerous--on the other it IS dangerous, and wants people to take hit seriously. Mina's a person, yeah, but it's not human, and that distinction is important.

i think Mina used to have fangs. its canines and the teeth before and after them used to be sharp enough to draw blood. The dentist filed them down without asking it. Mina tends not to trust medical professionals anymore.
And it really wants its fucking teeth back.
I think Mina and Fumikage should bond over their similarities, Tooru and Mina should bond over masking to deal with their quirks, Neito should be violently jealous of Mina's perceived easy acceptance despite its similarly "villainous" quirk before eventually reconciling, and Himiko and Mina should have an uncomfortable moment of recognition of the self through the other in the midst of a battlefield.
Also Mina deserves at least one no holds barred fight against Katsuki where it actually gets to hurt him because Mina is jealous that Katsuki is just allowed to be dangerous and have that be a good thing for him.
