The person who can see your soul comes only once in your lifetime, if ever at all. Some will never experience this. So if you have that one person who can peer into your soul actually see you, and who can cradle your heart in their hands, don’t be so stupid as to take them for granted or let them go.

A text I've just received....

"Hi [name redacted] hope your fine, I know we were planing on spending some time together this weekend, but I have started seeing someone so it's best if we cancel what we had planned, I hope you understand and it does not but spoil are friendship .xxx"

We were going to be doing more than just spending some time together as friends cos we've got to know each other better over the last few months and I was feeling quite comfortable with him, and he knows that. I've been tossed aside.

I guess I've had a lucky escape from another prick!

That awkward moment. When you thought you meant the world to someone, when they had you believing that, if they ever wrote their story, you’d be an entire chapter in their book, only to realise, you were not even worth a scribble in their footnotes.

Ironic, isn’t it? You would think if something is rare or priceless, one would hold on to it, treasure it, never let it go. And yet something as rare and priceless as a pure heart and genuine soul are so easily used and tossed aside.

After disposal nappies, disposable towels and disposable tableware, disposable soulmates are the new trend. Toss them in the bin when you don’t need them anymore. The problem is, the planet is getting too littered with them.
