that's the thing with cons though, i'm always like... but what if I buy a ticket to see a specific person and then they cancel? especially since it seems like it's been happening a lot in my dw sphere lately. (like poor australia who at one point had matt, arthur, karen and billie scheduled and then all of them dropped out one by one. i mean at least those people definitely got refunds, but that's disappointing.)

actually the year i went to ottawa comiccon, the headliner was patrick stewart and i was pumped for him, and then the day before i found out he'd cancelled and been replaced by william shatner LOLLLLL
