올해 첫 바다바깥. 나이가 드니 추운거보다는 더운것이 낫더라. 32도의 공기와 함께 서있는 크리스마스트리는 기대했던것보다 더 낯설었다. 말레이 학생들은 참 똘망똘망. 워크샵 지켜보면서 의욕이 솟는건 정말 오랜만.

양정선 Jeongsun YANG

인간과 동물의 관계를 조망하고자 전시 속하거나 혹은 갈망하거나 (예술의 전당 한가람 미술관, 2012) 를 기획 하였으며, 이 전시를 바탕으로 인간과 동물이 사회적 관계망 속에서 상생의 관계로 나아갈 수 있는 대안을 고민하고자 하는 주제의 프로젝트를 구상 중에 있다.  또한 동남아시아의 역사 그리고 문화적 맥락과 긴밀히 연결된 시각예술에 관심이 많다. 따라서 상이한 문화권들 속에서 파생되는 독특한 현대시각예술들을 접목하여 새로운 언어로 풀어낼 수 있도록 지속적으로 연구 하고자 한다.

Jeongsun YANG curated an exhibition titled《BeLonging》(2012) to look into the relationship between humans and animals. As an extension of the exhibition, she is planning another exhibition with a theme to seek an alternative for humans and animals to develop social relationship into coexistence. In addition, she is very interested in visual art related with the history and cultural context in Southeast Asia.
