TOTEZ BUMZ: A moment for a whimsical heart.

TOTAL BUMMER 3D is only 6 days away. The countless number of hours and phone calls that it took to make all this happen are almost over. Sloppy Kisses will open up TB3D Thursday night at Uncle Lous. There is nothing that I find more serendipitous than John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale smoochin' in the rain. Again. And again. And one more time. But a close second would be Sloppy Kisses starting the weekend off because that is what this weekend will quickly turn into. A sloppy kiss a messy sweat drenching hug and/or an inappropriate ass grab. It's easy when asked about why we do TOTAL BUMMER to run off into explaining our idealistic visions for the movement of music in Florida. But in 6 days, all that will be felt is a euphoric gratitude for the hundreds of friends that surround us.
We have called this week our Summer Camp. We are getting older and a little more adult(?) but this weekend always revitalizes the child like spirit in me. I will do inappropriate things. I will uncontrollably scream yell gibberish and burst into fits of gyrations that are not for the weak of heart. I will do this with the people I love. I will reunite with dear friends that I have only spent little time with but have done so much with that time.
For all of those who will share this weekend with us, we ask you to come with this same innocent starry eyed childish spirit. We ask for all of you to give to those around you and to share with them this experience. Spend time with each other and protect one another. Appreciate what each other has to give and encourage one another.
We are Spirit Cat. But really, we are just a bunch of junkies that love a feel good moment.
