I've seen a handful of future aus where Zim makes some sort device that extends Dib and sometimes Gaz lifespans or heals them or something and I wanted to throw my hat into the ring!

Heyaaa it's the same guy that asks if iz totality have a fic! I wanna know what your au is about and why zib is there!

The general idea is that some time after the zimvoid arc (i forgot if we had a set date? A yearish after in my mind) Dib feels a lot of guilt about just sorta leaving Zib there? So he goes back to check in on him, rescue him, he's really not sure (more so there to feel better about himself and his guilt) and a bunch of stuff happens that I won't get into because the whole introduction part actually is a nearly finished fic that I've kind of just been sitting on, and Zib agrees to go back with Dib to Earth.

A lot of the AU is just me and Pyrite shoving all the characters under a microscope and putting them in situations because we love character analysis and torturing our blorbos.

Another big part of the AU though is, obviously, Zib himself. There's a sort of fight for control going on between him and Pak!Zim who is still conscious an a lot of the AU is just them struggling to coexist and also just exist on Earth in general. (Here's some really shitty concept doodles I did exploring that lol)

Totality doesn't,,,,,tecchhnicallllyyy have a fic. I have fic drafts/comic scripts in my notes and I would LOOVEE to post them and maybe even make a fic series thing but im kinda scared id mischaracterize the characters to all hell and idk auugh!!! maybe oneday....... also side note Totality isn't just my AU! its mine and oomf @dailyturnip shared au we just like to focus on different time periods in the au (I typically like to focus on when the characters are teens/older bc i like thinking of how all their respective dynamics would change and turnip likes to focus on when they are closer to their cannon ages) so we end up covering alot of ground which i really like!!!!
