“I have a proposition for you.”
That was how the conversation started as she entered, the mastermind sitting behind the desk in his room, his hands crossed in front of his face and a ghostly smile hiding behind the hands. He’d invited the imposter to his room for his upcoming plan. She would be quite useful... if she accepted. Which was why he’d devised a plan.
“You see, I’ve recently gained access to the headmaster’s files. He’s been working hard, hmm, and has gained as much information as possible. After all, his family is from a long line of detectives, after all.” His kind heart and speech was no longer there; it was now tainted with despair--just as he wanted.
He waved a simple file, printed with only her real name on there. “It’s quite interesting, really. Things in there are listed that I’m sure you’d regret.” He smiled--the smile looking genuine, but almost painfully fake and mocking.
