This V day post is dedicated to the person I love most right now, my best friend - Joey

I always make a point of calling him my best friend when I'm refering to him because he stands apart from the rest of my friends.

I have people that I love spending time with, have things in common with etc, but he's different. I've never had a friend like this before, and now I know there's a big difference between having a laugh with someone and being on a proper level with them without any romantic interaction.

I can be quite a fickle person, so I tend to lose contact with lots of people, even if I'm attending the same school/job/whatever as them... But I've known him for coming up to 6 or so years now, and I've been friends with him for half that time, and I still hold him in high regard, which is a bit of a big deal to me.

Dude, you cheer me up when I'm feeling like shit, you make me laugh like a hyena every time we talk, you're intelligent as shit, and you're such a great guy that I wish I could hang out with you every day.

I think right now, I'm pretty content with my un-relationship (a term coined by myself to describe a relationship that is romantic - not fuck buddies, not that shallow at all... - but not exclusive, which I bet already exists because everything in the universe has already been done before so nothing is original anymore but fuck it because I like this phrase...).

It's kind of ironic that I'd rather not label things because then I unconsciously play up to them and have these 'expectations' without wanting them and shit, yet labelling this makes me feel really comfortable and a...um, warm? That's probably the 20+ degree weather though.

I don't feel like I miss him the entire time like I probably would otherwise, but it feels really cool that he's like, there, and he's excellent (...and will see this, hello :3).

And I'm seeing RHCP again in less than a month and I'm in love with everything and everyone in that band and I finish college in less than a month too and get to move out to the coast and d;aiwdbiybavdisdfkjb....look at life being all pretty and meow.
