What takes you out of your comfort zone? 😄 This was actually one of the best experiences we had in Colombia in terms of laughs. It wasn't because of the actual mud baths which are totally cool (mud from an inactive volcano? Count me in!). It was more so because of my personal awkwardness of being in my bathing suit beside 20 other people getting rubbed with sulfuric mud by a stranger (who was totally respectful btw). I get uncomfortable when I go for a normal massage, so you can imagine. 😅 I think the funniest part was after the mud bath there are wonderful women who take you into a lake and wash you off for a few pesos. So, here I am letting this lovely woman wash me when all of a sudden my bikini top is off in one swift movement 😂. When I looked over to the hubs, his swim trunks were off too, and another woman was washing all the mud off our clothes. I don't think we ever laughed so hard in our lives. We were stripped naked and re-dressed so fast we didn't know what happened. The whole experience made me realize not to take things so seriously and to embrace the culture around you. I mean if everyone else around you is half-naked being rubbed with mud, what's there to worry about ?😜 What's the most unique experience you've had? @carryonwithkids #mudbaths #totumovolcano #travelmoments #travelexperience #culturetrip #worldschool #culture #colombia #cartagena #familyfun #familyvacation #familylife #travelandlearn #interesting #experience #goforit #whynot #yolo #travelgoals #traveltribe #travellifestyle #travelcolombia #traveladventures #familyadventures #carryonwithkids (at Cartagena De Indias, Colombia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDHcQ_LF2yQ/?igshid=1epfpnnyqa5xv
