Song of the year?

I already answered this with a Rebecca Black song but another one would be It Ain’t Me by Kygo and Selena Gomez. I put this song in some other 2017 meme but didn’t elaborate on the reason. There were a lot of deaths this year. Most of them were people I admit I didn’t know all that well. One of them, I wish I had. But this is sort of a “loss” song and I feel like it embodies that mood.

Favorite actor of the year?

None. I don’t pay attention to actors, really. Now musicians, that would be Papa Emeritus.

How was your birthday this year?

It was so-so like most years. Someone from the gas company turned our gas off about a week before because he claimed there was a leak and he wouldn’t turn it back on until it was fixed. We got it fixed and the gas guy was scheduled to come out on the evening of my birthday to turn it back on. This was in the summer so it’s not like it was too big of a deal. It sucked taking cold showers every morning, though, and I’m still pissed off that stupid gas man broke my oven (the pilot light won’t light so I think he broke something when he pulled it out from the wall, the asshole–so I haven’t had a working oven since). But aside from that, I did get breakfast and dinner with my dad and of course, the highlight of my day is always seeing all the nice art and writing Tumblr friends make for me. And of course the general birthday wishes as well are nice.

What’s something you learned this year?

During WWII when Americans of Japanese heritage were interned, some of the internment camps in the southwestern states were on Native American reservations and despite the fact that the living conditions of the internment camps were horrible, they were still comparably better than the reservations and when the internment was over, some of the Native Americans ended up living at the former camps.

what makes you feel warm inside?

Getting compliments, I suppose. 

what’s your favorite halloween tradition?

Cosplaying, of course. I don’t do much more than that traditionally on Halloween.

what’s the last thing you learned?

Karl Pilkington chipped a kid’s tooth on a sink over a girl when he was 7.

when’s the last time you felt obsessed?

I’m obsessed currently.

what’s your favorite article of clothing?

Casual-wear wise, these pants with elastic ankles. They’re just really comfortable and they don’t get dirty when I go out in the snow because they go about the ankles.

Beard or Goatee?

I really want a goatee. I’m tired of this Reddit neckbeard I’ve got going on but I still have to wait a few more months before the hair will be long enough for a goatee to look good on me imo.
