5igna designs - the extreme collection
I am a structural engineer and love working with metal, creating one of a kind wearable pieces. I'm really fond of organic, edgy, detailed and asymmetric forms.
Every single piece is my own design, handmade using traditional jewellery techniques (sawing, soldering, forging, forming, bezel setting, lost-wax casting...).
I started as a self taught maker, then later joined a course and learnt from some great teachers next to wonderful people. Every day is a new challenge and every day I learn something new.
Working mostly with sterling silver and gold, I enjoy the contrast of partially oxidized metal.
I try to keep all my jewellery unique and do not duplicate my works; each has its own story and a special place in my heart.
The Extreme Collection is a more experimental approach, focusing on edgy, raw, massive and organic pieces.
Not your every day jewellery, I'd like to think of this as a rather artistic, free creation, the "one" special piece, out of style, trends or gender.
