Leaving a Legacy That Lasts
A legacy for the rich and famous can very different from the average person. But, no matter who you are, you can leave a lasting impression that will be remembered by those whose lives you have touched.
Do you remember as a kid, being asked
"What do you want to be when you grow up?
Maybe you have asked your children or grandchildren the same question. I never felt that I had a good answer. I envied all the child prodigies who had a clear vision of how their purposein life was to play out.
Most of Your Life Was Ahead of You
Looking back at your first adulthood, the path had some forks in it but there was a clearly a path. You go to school, you go to work, you get married, you have children, you raise your kids, etc.
You know what you are "supposed to do"as a responsible adult. You follow the golden rule -- the well-worn path that all the grownups have laid out and hope trust that if you do what is right, you will have a successful life.
Now Most of Life is Behind You
After you have done all that (or sometimes life has done it to you) things get a whole lot fuzzier in our second adulthood. Now what? The path is not always so clear.
So, maybe NOW I am just starting to find out what I want to be when I grow up.
Leaving a Legacy that Lasts
I have been rethinking this blog and the purposeof it. This site is intended to provide inspiration and life direction for baby boomers and seniors to live life to the fullest and create the kind of legacy in your own lives that will live on in the next generation.
At the very core of everything that is published here -- I want to touch your life in a way that will be a blessing to you. I would be honored if you walk this journey with me.
