Our AVA project is focusing on the false advertising in the makeup industry. We have chosen to do a video which includes an interview with a current cosmetology teacher at Americas High School. The type of argument we will be focusing on is Toulmins argument. We will be using that structure to help us properly develop our video effectively. The goal is to provide awarness as well as inform viewers on the dangers that social media can falsely portray “beauty”. We are still currently waiting to see if we can borrow a camera for the interview. We have already discussed how we will construct the video by collaborating both text and visual.
