My Tour Essentials
We're leaving for tour today, and in true Casey Hanner form, I've put off packing until the very last minute. And to procrastinate a little more, I thought I'd give you a list of some of my essential items I take on tour with me:
1. Travel Towel -- I got mine at REI. It's super thin and really absorbent. And it dries so fast. It's the worst to have a big bulky towel that's not totally dry in your suitcase. We figured this out one tour and actually stopped at a Walmart to get a bunch of sham wows. haha
2. Gummy Vitamins -- Got to stay healthy on tour. Being sick while traveling in a van all day and not being able to sleep in your own bed is awful. And the gummy vitamins are so good! Plus, you don't need water to take them.
3. Emergen- C or AirBorne -- When the vitamins aren't enough and you start to feel a cold coming on, we load up on the vitamin C!
4. Pre-moistened Face wipes -- You never know when you're going to want to clean your face. And lot's of times there isn't a bathroom around or you don't have your suitcase with you. I stick these in my backpack along with my straightener and contact solution.
5. Hand sanitizer -- This one is fairly obvious. But very important!
6. Ear plugs -- It gets loud in those clubs. And night after night...your ears start to ring.
7. Sequins -- Lots and lots of sequins. Ok I think I should pack now.
We checked in with singer Alejandra Deheza of the band School of Seven Bells to see what she's packing. The pixie-like lyrical genius shows us inside her suitcase, which is filled with offbeat gems.
