The truth is, if you want me to submit *my own* images of every character that I enter, it is going to severely limit the number of characters I can enter. Especially, it's going to limit it down to specific main characters of my 1 or 2 well-established works. I just don't have the energy for the time sink of either drawing them all or doing a picrew, especiallyby a deadline (I don't like picrews anymore because I don't feel like they convey the essence of my characters generally and I always spend too much time on them) and I feel like that's a lot to ask. I realize it may not seem like a lot to ask for someone as prolific as you, but it really kind of is and I think I'm not alone in that sentiment. My current plan is to send mostly stock photos; but feel free to discard submissions that you don't like.
That's an understandable sentiment. My motivation for requesting pictures is that, in every single bracket ever, if a character with a picture is pitted against a character without a picture, people never vote for the one without a picture, and that's extremely unfortunate! So what I'm doing is less enforcing a rule with an iron fist, and more trying to give everybody a fighting chance. I really don't want those with interesting characters but without any pictures to just be voted out in round one!
I will consider what you have said, though. And yes, you are not the first to raise this point. I'm thinking maybe I could make the picture question not required anymore, but then I'd have to group the pictureless characters together, and the pictured ones together, because grouping them together basically guarantees the pictured ones will win and that would be unfair and unfortunate

As of this year the max amount is 2 characters per user

Idk if you can answer this or not, but do you know if the tournament submissions will close on August 10th or if there will be wiggle room? I'm trying to figure out some art stuff and what to do/use for the submission and basically just wanted to know if I had time to do anything "extra"

heya!! i just saw this account and i'm a little confused about how this works. when you say Christian oc, does it mean the oc is Christian? or that the oc's story has Christian themes in it? or is it just that the owner of the oc is Christian?
Christian OC-Tournament, if you will. The character doesn't have to be Christian, only the artist/ creator/ user who participates in the tournament. I created this tournament 2 years ago because I was inspired by several OC tournaments on here and wanted to provide one for my Tumblr community aka the Christian artist community. This sideblog is also a companion blog to @christian-oc-tag-games (which is a blog for tag games and polls and trope posts and so on to tag your characters in. Again, the OCs aren't supposed to be Christian necessarily, but the tag games are geared towards this particular community)
So how does propaganda work, specifically using reblogs? Do we post on our own blogs, and send you the link, or how does it work?
For example, you can reblog the post and write propaganda in the tags. Or you could reblog and, in the main body of the post, write or draw or link anything that would convince others to vote for your preferred character. If you post on your own blog, you can tag the tournament.
In the first season, propaganda was sent by ask box but this clogged the blog so that the polls were less accessible, so I changed the rule starting from season 2. This way, the polls are still easily accessible on this blog, while propaganda is posted (via reblogs or otherwise) by the participants and voters. Hopefully this explains it 🫡👍
