Tow truck driver broke my neighbour's axle, and my best friend's bumper because they were parked in a space he wanted to occupy. So he illegally towed and destroyed one car, and I stood in front of the tow boom to stop him towing my best friend's car.

He also banged on my door this evening like the fucking SWAT team, cussed me out in spanish, and called me a communist slut-- (because my best friend is Cuban.) Which I'm SURE he doesn't realise is just.... Probably semi close to the truth...--

SO. TWENTY FOUR HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. IF YOU NEED A TOW, CALL THIS GUY.

To clarify: this evening was easily the fifth incident. Previously, we attempted speaking to management at the complex, and civilly asking him to fucking stop. Instead he wants to scream at me in Spanish and act like a 3 year old man child. Is this petty? Perhaps. But he lives across the row from me, and I feel fucking unsafe around him. Since management won't do anything, I sure the fuck will. I have ZERO fucks and ALL THE SPOONS for being a cunt.

Nobody likes the idea of their car being towed, but unfortunately, it happens. Tow companies are normally frowned upon by many people, but at the end of the day, these guys that are out doing all the work, are just like everybody else - just trying to do their jobs. Here are a few tow related myths for the people in Massachusetts, and the facts that put these myths to rest!

                      Myth: If you reach your car after the tow truck driver has hooked it to the tow truck, he or she has the right to take it to the towing lot.

Fact: If your car is on the lot where you parked it and it has not moved, the tow truck driver can drop your vehicle, provided you pay him or her half of the standard towing fee on the spot. This is what they call a 'drop-fee.'

Myth: Apartment complexes and businesses get paid in kickbacks when you get towed.

Fact: Contracts between property managements and tow companies cannot, by law, include any monetary exchange. Transfer of funds is a third-degree felony.

Myth: A tow truck driver can’t break into your car to tow it.

Fact: Legally, the driver can enter your vehicle, but he or she has to use “reasonable care." They can only enter your vehicle for the purpose of removing it from the lot.

Myth: If you get towed in the middle of the night, the towing companies office may be closed and you will have to wait until the next day to get your vehicle back.

Fact: By law, all towing companies must be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. After those hours, a sign must be posted with the phone number of the towing operator. You can call that number at any time throughout the night, and the operator must show up to release your vehicle to you.
