if there is one thing celestine would never do, it's that she's never going to underestimate any calls she has ever gone to, yet at first, she thought, this was going to be any other day she gets on the field once more. she would not be directly involved into fights, yet she's been always a little close to them, always keeping her attention on the warrior she's with, making sure she would be by their side when they need her most.
portal level seven. her heart sank. it was as if she was stuck in her own thoughts, something she had worried about ever since she has started dedicating herself into this. she started recalling reading about how bad can this be, but she knew she can only imagine what they're going to face.
and there she was, braided locks still a bit of a mess as she rushed out and went to the dancing house, tucking a loose strand of her hair behind her ears whilst she kept watch, yet not missing a debris about to fly into the direction of the person crouching by her. "look out!" she says in a hushed voice, before thinking about it, grabbing them by their arm to avoid it. her eyes landed on the monster that's caused it. "...fuck, we need to think of a play for this..." she didn't want to mess it up, especially how the warrior she's with is going to need her in case shit hits the fan.

the day is barely beginning when you’re awakened by the blaring sound of the city’s characteristic alarm that lets you know a portal has opened. as usual, and despite the years, the terrified shrieks of the people can be heard between the end of the alarm and the start of the broadcasting that informs you where it is and what type it is, and your heart stops for a second when you hear the last part. you stop in your tracks, shoelaces tangled between your fingers, and you wait. portal level seven, you hear clearly the second time, and the third. and your heart starts to beat faster. you’ve never faced a level seven before. you tie your shoes firmly, put on the rest of your clothes, grab your weapons, and find the rest of your partners in the hallway — all of them look as surprised as you, or as excited, or maybe as terrified, even if they don’t want to admit it. yet you walk toward the new town anyway because that’s why you awakened for.
when you arrive at the dancing house, everything is already a mess, half of the building has been destroyed by the portal, the other is on its way, and monsters keep coming and coming — you’ve never seen monsters as tall, as wide, as angry as the ones you’re witnessing right now. it’s take all of you a second to jump into action, but you do, in the blink of eye, after a deep breath, because that’s why you were reborn.

to make things more interesting for us and jarring for your characters, a portal level seven is a portal none of the current characters in play has ever faced before, so keep that in mind when plotting and writing.
considering a portal of these dimensions is very unusual and unknown, feel free to come up with your own ideas regarding monsters ( for example, how they look ). some examples could be: they are particularly strong and fast, their magic lasts longer, and their attacks are more precise, hence defeating them is harder ( which means warlocks’ aid will be more necessary than normal ). also, despite monsters being naturally ugly, level six and seven are uglier, even gore-y looking, so take liberties by describing them to your liking !
in character duration will be two days, so updates in the plot drop will be posted during the ooc duration.
