     she’s content to merely stare at him, eyes clouded with something akin to a schoolgirl’s lust, a raw and almost unsettling emotion she hadn’t felt towards her husband since their relationship began.  it’s alarming, in a way, to know that this inexplicable change in his behavior was to blame for her sudden attraction to a man that she’d, until recently, felt nothing for.     ❛ i know; it sounds stupid. ❜   a brief exhalation of laughter, plush lips curling into a faint smile.  ❛ but you’re... different, somehow.  it’s-- it’s nice.❜

        ❛ DID YOU NOT HEAR ME, YOSHIKAGE?  i said, put your hands up. ❜       he knows he shouldn’t press his luck with this man.  this man is just as dangerous as he is.  he knows.  he knows this, and yet, he insists on doing it anyway, if only for a few brief moments of fun in an otherwise dreary and unexciting town.  slender arms are outstretched, gun clutched tightly in pale hands and trained on the man in white before him.           ❛ you’re comin’ with me.  i can’t let this continue. ❜        there are a few seconds of silence, so tense that a mere breath could break it and startle those in its clutches, before Adachi’s shoulders begin to quiver, leading into a loud, obnoxious cackle.  he lowers his gun shortly thereafter and leans forward, hands pressed to his knees for support.
