Abstragedy where after Gangle starts crying for Jax abstracting, she talks to Zooble a lot about it. Of course she felt bad for not crying but then she might feel bad for crying because then it feels like maybe a part of her DID want him to be mean to her, and that would delegitmitize the pain she felt from him.

Zooble reassures her that all of what she is feeling is understandable, and her crying over him just means she's human..able to still feel hurt FROM him..but also sympathy FOR him.

She thanks Zooble for understanding her and the two just hug...for a long, long time.

Naturally, the two are still dating and...well, doing more than cussing. Everything is pretty hunky dory, Gangle still visiting Jax every once in a while, but Zooble doesn't mind. They understand that she's still processing the years of the bullying he enacted on her, and maybe she just needs to vent out how she feels about him..even if he can't respond back.

However, something...strange starts happening. It starts innocently enough, with Gangle asking Zooble to change out their parts, as some of them could be particularly sharp or otherwise weirdly textured as Zooble held her. They didn't mind at all, especially given they're getting more comfortable in their body and all, whatever to make their gf more comfortable. But then, a few days later she would ask them to change again...and again the next few days...and then she just straight up asked to look through their Zooble box for parts.

Zooble begrudgingly let her. They didn't want to accidentally harm her after all, and maybe she just wanted to feel safe in their arms, maybe she would find something that would remind her of her life out there. Maybe she was seeking some kind of familiarity with texture, given most of their limbs were rubbery. Still...they didn't want to be changed completely..they had just started to get comfortable after all..but they trusted her.

Gangle couldn't even look them in the eyes as she handed over the parts she found to them. And who could blame her? She had given them a limb with the hand of it resembling Jax's glove and 2 head pieces resembling ears. Rabbit ears.

Zooble was very...well, a whole hum drum of emotions about it, and who could blame them? For once, Zooble's room had an uncomfortable tension in it and they didn't say anything at first. They asked if this is what Gangle really wanted.

Gangle tried to explain the best that she could that she just...really missed him, and seeing his avatar. She just wanted to see a semblance of him again, as that was part of her unfortunate routine for years before Zooble even showed up.

Zooble sighed but...they put them on, given they had heard that role-playing can help in difficult scenarios and process things and the like. They had asked what she would like them to say "as Jax", and so they held her, telling her every comforting word and all the presumed motivations of Jax tormenting her all the time.

Gangle thanked them with a kiss and Zooble thought this would be the end of everything, well in this specific regard. This was until Gangle had asked them to wear the parts again and...actually...be mean towards her? Like...degradingly mean. Zooble was extremely hesistant now, not only because they couldn't imagine saying half the things she wanted them to say and not even apologizing or reassuring her afterwards, but of course the growing...feeling they got in their stomach about all of this. This started to feel less and less like a coping mechanism and more like she just wanted to date Jax. She denied these claims, saying even she knew how bad he was towards her and it's ridiculous they would even try to imply she wants her bully back in her life. She would also claim that she just likes how the glove and the ears feel against her and as for the degradation...well yknow. Zooble had to take time to think about it and after multiple reassurances, they did start to do what she had asked, although they had to be coached through it and be reassured multiple times she wanted this.

It went better than expected, and they slept together. However, as Zooble was hardly awake, they could her crying. They tried to ask where she was going and she just..didnt reply, just saying she was sorry and left.

For the next few days, nobody had seen Gangle and Zooble was wondering if by re enacting the bully and torment had they inadvertently caused her to abstract? After building some courage, they went over to her door, expecting the worst. They knocked on the door. ..nothing. They knocked on the door, again, louder and more frantically. Nothing. They started to ask around for a key, given only Jax had keys. Turns out Pomni still had the key that Jax gave her while looking through his memories. Now, this was a group effort and concern. Everybody, including Caine, surrounded behind Zooble as they turned the key and....nothing. There was nobody there. This was...confusing. If she wasn't self isolating out of guilt nor abstracted, then where the hell was she and why had she been avoiding them? A deep, almost guttural instinct dropped into their stomach. They knew where she was.

As Ragatha was trying to say to split up to cover more ground, Zooble fast walked over to the center of the circus, running and then sprinting as their heart was beating out of their chest. It can't be true, this can't be real they thought in their daze. But they knew, they fucking knew.

There they saw it as they tore the curtain aside, Gangle curled right next to abstracted Jax. As soon as Zooble popped in, Gangle jumped up and they got into a huge screaming match. Nobody really knows what the ending was, given everybody tried to help and give perspective, but they kept arguing for so long that everybody scrambled. All they know is that Gangle permanently resided inside of Jax's tent, hardly even going on adventures anymore.
