Now would be a good time for Emma to burst in.
Huh, wonder what this is about?
Holy shit. Norman overwhelmingly completed his plan even before Emma could get there, so what the Hell do we do now?
3 reasons Ray didn’t appear in Norman’s inner-thought in ch.152 (TPN thoughts)
The OP in this post I reblogged before probably had said it better than me, but I just want to add my own words here (and not in the reblog cause I hate making posts become too long, lol).
Basically, I think the reason of lack of Ray in Norman’s inner-thought panel could be summarized in these 3 panels:
Panel 1: Ray is not on the opposite fraction (for lack of better term). He’s actually okay with Norman’s plan.
Panel 2: Norman said that Ray “can read his mind.” Implying that Norman knows that Ray doesn’t oppose him, because Ray’s the one who can understand him the most, yet Ray didn’t argue with him even though he understood the plan.
Panel 3: Thus, Norman only sees Emma as the one who oppose him. He sees himself as “the devil” that’s going against Emma’s wish for peace.
In other words, to Norman, Emma is an opponent while Ray is a confidant. But Norman’s always been a people pleaser. He wants to give the best result to the people he cares about, and he hates making them sad. That’s why it’s continue to eating him inside (cue to the inner-thought) that he’s making Emma sad by going against her wishes.
Omg omg omg
What an emotional chapter
Ah, that is a look. God damn. Also, cool to see that they have the Day and Night pictures on the wall.
So that’s why Norman wasn’t taken to be harvested, because the queen was an entitled little brat.
Damn, stone cold. This also explains why Norman knew Ayshe wasn’t trustworthy, he could understand her. Wonder what the queen was trying to say there at the end?
Whistles That was impressive.
Ah, so we’re going to get her motivations, eh?
Ah, entitled brat, got it.
Oh, that makes a lot of sense. Gotta use what little you have in the most effective way.
Yep, best place to use it is the most crowded area.
Honestly, he looks pretty good, not sure why he had the paper bag, though perhaps we’ll get a more indepth explanation later.
Okay, but all the tragedy and Norman’s cold heart aside, this discovery of Norman can speaking demon language is making me ship Norman x Ayshe more.
Noremma is cute, but Ayshe is someone who doesn’t grew up with Norman, so she’s the kind of people who can be upfront to him if he’s being stupid gutsy messiah again.
I mean...if even Norman would stay alive, that is. I feel like Norman would’ve to “pay” for him causing the imbalance in the dynamic between both worlds. We don’t know what that chibi Demon God is capable of yet, other than playing with time and memories. But Norman doing genocide is basically cancelling the deal between him (them?) and Ratri Clan. Is there any possibility the Demon God would be mad??
