‘Hero’ is a title, a state of being. Therefor, not every hero was formerly human, like the current Hero–They could, in theory, be any specie from any world, so long as RGB chose them to be 'hero’.

When RGB took Hero, he was taking her from her own finalized story where she isn't a hero and that's why her character was erased from her original story.

Assok somewhat represents plagiarism/paraphrasing. If Assok was a former hero, then maybe when Assok eventually died in that world, they lost their originality and creativity and that's why they can only use words that others have said.

In the very beginning, hero only says goodbye to her mum. So it seems she doesn't have a dad anymore... What if rgb was actually her dad when he was alive, and just doesn't remember

The butterfly either works for Hate or IS Hate in some form. After all, the butterfly usually lands on dead/dying things and seems very interested in driving Hero away from RGB by making her distrust him.

I believe that whenever Hero encounters Hate eventually, her compassion for the various characters in this world (Madras, ToBY, Assock, Julienne, Melody, Miss Cell, Tinker, Tailor, and of course RGB) is what will ultimately protect her. Just like her courage/lack of fear protected her from dying from the Fears at the start of the story.

Here's an idea based on the phrase we've seen used when buying/trading, A pretty strong declaration of love in that world (and definitely when it involves marriage) would be for the pair to say "It's me. You're mine." "It's you. I'm yours." But on the flipside, if someone like Hate used the phrase, that person would be pretty much enslaving themselves to her. Intent is important.
