marmalade: I shook my head yes as it was the only thing my body could bring itself to do at the moment. The pain in my eye was gone, but so was my sight. Everything was pitch black, except for the lightened shadow that I could see in front of me. My back was stiff, and my hand was...it's...broken, how, what? In an instant my body allowed itself to unlock from the frozen pose it was in, and I looked up towards the figure that was casting the shadow, and my eye tried, but failed, to gather what I was looking at. Great. Another thing that'll probably pull me further away from my mission.

Hello everyone, Mod here! I just came by to give a quick update! Unfortunately, since the last update of this extravagant tale, my phone bit the dust, and I lost everything including the original blog login info, some of the concept art, and much more, but don't worry! I have moved all of the stuff from that blog to this one. (Hopefully you guys see the 2 in the username.) You can also still click the username of the old blog and read the tags of each post if still would like to! The scheduled posting of the next part of the story is hopefully this week, so get ready! marmalade: My mind was finally able to put the pieces together. The figure before me was an eye, and I knew that it more than likely possessed knowledge than even a normal human brain couldn't process. It's iris was a shade of blue that began to feel more familiar than my own. The more I focused on it, the more reflective it became, until it stopped once I could see myself crystal clear. I continued to look at reflection, but it wasn't long before I noticed another bright light in the corner of my remaining eye, and turned to see what exactly was illuminating behind me. It was a mix of tints and shades of orange, and a figure stood in the middle unfazed of the light around them..

?: My dearest niece, you will no longer feel the pain that riddles your nerves with no remorse. I am here to guide you towards a place where everything will be made whole again. You may call me Benten, Marmalade! You're father sent me here because he is aware of everything your mother put you through, and he wants you to know that none of it is your fault. You're a victim caught up in someone else's turmoil. There's so much more to unpack, but I must ask you for one favor before we are able to move any further...

Benten: You must come with me, for I must take to you someone special. A man who was the first to lose the breath of life under the hands of someone too blind to see past her unhealthy fantasy... Marmalade, I know that all of this may seem sketch, but believe me when I say that I truly wish to help you heal from all of the garbage people have put you through. We can't go back and change it, but we can heal and grow from it, and I want to help you with that process.

marmalade: I got up and brushed the sand off of myself. Staying here isn't going to help me get back to Ally. I turned and looked towards the far distance in front of me, and it looked untouched for miles. "Maybe I'll find something if I just walk?" The sand felt warm against the bottoms of my feet as I began my journey. It was a sense of warmness that I had yet to discover before. As I walked, I looked at the scenery around me. There wasn't much to be honest. Some bushes, one or two trees, and eventually a small stream that connected itself to the ocean. For a while, I had kept my attention on things to both of my sides, and not once looking towards me. The one time I did, however, I found something interesting...

marmalade: It was a lady who had red-orange ombre hair, and clothing that was made of what appeared to be different shades of blue. There was a purple eyeball on her back that connected in the middle of where the two straps crossed over each other. It was really strange, but the thing that caught my interest the most were her stretch marks. They were purple, and for some reason, glowing a very lighter shade of the same color. A feeling of dread arose in me while I tried to examine her from where I stood. At the same time, she must have noticed that someone was standing behind her.

???: ...Why, you've grown up so much since the last time I saw you Rita! I, myself, find it hard to believe that you managed to last it this long, but I guess we can't always have our dreams come true. Come over here and let me take a look at you!

marmalade: I watched as the lady before me stood up, continuing to face me, and a sudden realization came into my mind as she stood. She thinks I'm my mom no matter how much I tell her I'm not, so if I act like her, then I'll hopefully be able to get out of here without harm! Perfect! Everything is going to be..wait a minute...why are her hands above her head?

marmalade: The lady held her hands together above her head like she was holding something. They looked smooth, began to open from the bottom, and a large, purple orb descended from it. From where I stood, it was what looked like my mom as a baby with some sort of cord connected to her? I don't know what that is. I noticed the beach around us fade away and turn into this eye-torturing scene. Something isn't right.. Bright colors surrounding her in a somewhat abstract pattern. Maybe this is something-

marmalade: I felt a painful pop on my face, and when I went to touch near it, I discovered that my right eye was had exploded. Only, there was no blood, but a throbbing scar in it's place. My entire body felt like static, the pain increasing rapidly, and I didn't know how to make it stop. I tried to reach out towards the lady, but I failed to touch her and fell onto my knees. The pain had gotten to the point of becoming unbearable no matter how hard I tried to fight back. "STOP IT!!" I grabbed my head with both my hands. "ALLY, HELP ME!!" The last thing I was able to do was look up towards the infinite cycle, but then it all turned dark..

marmalade??: The process of creating this weapon of mass destruction wasn't that difficult. To me, it was fairly easy. While I was adding the last few finishing touches, a vision fell upon me like the wind to an earthian tree. It looked as though it was drawing by a child. The further I got into the vision, the more clear it became of just who created it. §§§. She was sitting at a kitchen table with...Rita. Hm. I moved my eyes in every direction I could. Nothing really struck me as odd...until I feasted my eyes on the background. A giant, purple snake was ready to attack §§§, and I couldn't find a way to stop it.

§§§: I don't think Mommy loves me. She gets all angry and tells me everything is my fault. Sometimes, when she's had enough of me, she hits me and locks me in my room. Mommy said grandma did the same thing to her and it's okay! I don't think she likes dad either! She calls him the 'hymen breaker' and that he took everything from us. We live on a big ship and have so much stuff! Why would dad take any of it? Anyway, mommy said she- what is that?

marmalade??: I saw §§§ pointing her tiny finger towards the weapon, and I responded with "...it's ready!"

marmalade: ...What...What's going on?

marmalade: I stopped blinking, and all I could see was the sky. The sun was shining brightly. Every cloud in the sky was moving at a slow and steady pace. It felt peaceful. The sky was a tint of bluish-green that was very different from the outer dome in Hyperion. It felt...peaceful. Almost a kind of peace that I have yet to become familiar with in my life. Maybe one day I'll be in it's reach, but I highly doubt it.

marmalade: I sat up slightly, and my mood immediately changed. My surroundings were not what they're supposed to be, and by the looks of it, they were endless for miles. Alessandra needs me, but how will I reach her in time? God, maybe mom was right, I am a complete fuck up...no, Marmalade, don't think like that, you're better than that, you are, and never will be, anything that she tells you. "Just breathe, Marmalade. You'll get through it, and find a way back to Ally. All you need to do is find a way out!"

marmalade: Sitting on the floor made me feel as though I had been there for days, yet it was only minutes. My eyes shifted up and down the walls of the hallway filled almost to the brim with paintings. Rolling hills, buildings, babies too small to realize the full extent of their capabilities. Each one told a different story. The same goes for people. We all have one. I do, and the ice cold figure standing beside me has one too... I assumed the color blue had something to do with it since they were covered head to toe with it in different shades and hues. It felt as though I had know them all my life, yet I didn't possess the knowledge of their first name.
