💙🗝 The great thing about performing in virtual shows is you can go cry right when you’re done (“off camera”), and you’re already home and no one needs to know 😭 it’s great. These virtual shows (all of these many wonderful virtual shows this year) have all been beautiful, because of now, because of what is happening in the world, because things are tough and here we are: playing roles to dispel the fears the inner child carries within. Parents to each other making a game out of tough times. I was thinking a similar thought to this effect about how this interactive role play allows opportunities for healing every time I’d perform in an immersive anything, even before when we being in person was still the norm. Now its power in making space for relating (even if just virtually for now) feels more welcome than ever. The opportunity to bring kindness to the world through this work has always been a dream of mine, and this show truly does that. Thank you @kathrynyu and @no_proscenium for your kind words, and congrats to @ladybugandleviathan @meggomyeggo34 @_anniemcg and my love @blairkarlie for making this sweet show. More chances to remember on their way soon 💙🗝 #TPYOF #immersivetheatre #noproscenium (at Novotel Edinburgh Centre) https://www.instagram.com/p/CJCA7-tJxMX/?igshid=tp30m60n5ogq
