Edinburgh Fringe 2019 show recommend list
It was amazing to be up at #EdFringe19 just to see shows, & think about bringing work next year. I had a really good year of seeing stuff. Literally every show I saw had something exciting and distinctive about it. It may have helped that I tried most days to cap at seeing 3 shows a day.
It’s easy to forget you often need processing time after seeing something , and even though this meant I missed seeing some things I wanted to see, I felt much more present for what I did .
out of everything I saw this year at #EdFringe19 #TrickySecondAlbum @inbedwithmybro meant the most to me (& not just this out of this year but across many years of coming to see & perform work) If you didn’t see it, It’s gone now. and you really missed out. Special Sound design shout out for #MootMoot @RosanaCade @ivormacaskill and the live music score of #sinceyouvebeengone (I normally am allergic to the live musician on stage trope and in this show the dynamic between @PalomicaNicol & @TheTeddyLamb is so so great)
Oh and to technician @clive_mitchell at @AssemblyFest who replaced @ScotteeIsFat faulty microphone on stage at the start of the performance I saw of #class calmly & in what felt like seconds , you get my love too
