Arthur yawned, stepping up to the apartment door after a long day at work, amber eyes drooped tiredly from a long, busy day...So tired was the mechanic that he didn't particularly register the loud yell of warning from within him and his friends' shared apartment, him opening the door without hesitation, and, well...There were several hundred hamsters now scampering down the hall, many more tumbling out of the door and slithering away as Arthur looked into the room beyond, Mystery's head popping up from a sea of small, fluffy rodents, Lewis' skeletal form also appearing as the deluge slowly flowed out into the hall, the spirit casually taking his off his skull from atop his shoulders and emptying a hamster out from inside of it as Arthur stood in the doorway, a bit stunned."...anon magic?""Yep!""Yup."Arthur let out a low, impressed whistle, slowly making his way inside as the wave of rodents slowly susided, the man looking around at the tussled carpet, the misplaced furniture, the general chaos and mess of the apartment around him, Lewis emptying his hollow body in one corner as Mystery coughed up a rather perturbed hamster in the other."Jeez, how are we gonna explain this to management," groaned the ghost, planting his skull back on top of his head."I dunno," Arthur mused, "maybe blame it on the vents or something? Some sort of infestation? Seems like everyone on this floor is going to be dealing with a bunch of hamsters in their apartments now and-" A thought struck Arthur out of the blue, the man running for his room at lightning speed, rounding the corner with a graceful turn, and practically diving past his door, searching for one thing and one thing alone...And, thankfully, he found it."Oh, thank God," the man sighed, approaching his thankfully still firmly closed hamster cage, it's inhabitant more than happy to see him as he opened the lid and lifted her out."How's it going Galaham?"The hamster sat comfortably in his hands, gently nuzzling against him as he brought her up to his face, the man giving her gentle scritches as he continued, relieved:"Glad your cage didn't get upturned and you didn't get lost in the crowd there, I would've died of worry..."Arthur turned as Mystery strode into the room, the kitsune shaking from nose tip to the tip of every tail, a few more hamsters shaken out of his fur, the fox spirit centering his glasses on his snout with one paw as he explained:"I've taken care of the management: as far as the landlords can remember, the hamsters appeared out of nowhere, and from no apartment in particular...that being said, there is one person we do have to be concerned about.""Oh yea, who?""Vivi."There was a moment of stone-dead silence, then sudden, panicked motion, Galaham brought along for the ride as Arthur went skidding back into the main room: it was him and Lewis' turn to clean the apartment, and the place was practically a junkyard right now.Quickly getting to work, the two men bolted along the apartment at high speed, getting everything fixed up, Mystery casually plucking Galaham from Arthur's shoulder and sitting on the couch with her as the two men worked, the kitsune and the hamster quite enjoying the spectacle.Perhaps today wasn't so awful after all.
