Tuesday, February 7th at 4:00PM on North Plaza Come with us as we protest against the legalization of discrimination against members of the LGBTQ community in Virginia. HB2025 was just passed in the Virginia House of Delegates allowing for legalized discrimination of LGBTQ people on the basis of "religious belief or moral conviction that marriage is or should be recognized as the union of one man and one woman." George Mason's anti-discrimination policy protects our LGBTQ students on campus, but that isn't enough. Students cannot thrive here if they can be refused service off-campus, and we will not stand for this targeted attack on the rights of the LGBTQ community.
