Kaku here looks so perfect omg, love the panels but I now really despise south..
Idk man, can waka and benkei really defeat south? Like he seems like a total powerhouse it almost makes me believe the crazy theories going around :(
kinda had a small theory way back then (first time having one lmao). other than the phrase “take care of…” that implies the possible death, a certain character’s backstory can also be one of the implications but i don’t remember whether it happens often in TR verse.
so… what i’m trying to say is that (don’t expect too much from this btw) if south truly dies, then we might get to see the actual leader or boss of rokuhara tandai appearing. probably not during the three deities brawl but in a few chapters, maybe???
i mean south literally just a representative unless wakui stated him as the ‘leader’ but he didn’t- so there is a possibility that the actual person who is in charge of the gang remains at the back, watching everyone in the shadow.
regarding south's backstory, yeah it was so sad but i still stand with my opinion. looking at it, he wanted to make his own era by recruiting the ex-tenjiku men. in the same chapter where he succeeded to recruit them, south seemed like the one who created rokuhara tandai. so what's the truth, then? i'm still bugging at how he was called representative instead of boss or leader.
