Tallylyn Railway Summer 2022 (5/5)
And the final photos for now of the set. Also of Pendre, but with a certain Old Lady taking pride of focus. Gotta admit, even if she's in bits, seeing Dolgoch was actually a really emotional experience for me for obvious reasons. This is, if not the actual components of (the boiler is younger than I am for a start!) parts of the engine which started everything. Preservation has much to thank the Tallylyn for, and number two is a huge part of that legacy.
With that said, I'm just going to end off with a hearty thank you to the staff of the Tallylyn Railway. Throughout my visit, as a passenger and otherwise, everyone was friendly and accommodating. It's pretty clear now to me why fans of both Thomas and railways at large revere this little railway. From the waving track gangs to the ticket clerks, station staff and train crews, plus everyone in-between. I hope I'll be able to make a second visit soon, because it was well worth it.
