Can you tell us about the Malgus Brushguard?

Brushguard came online for the first time not long after the Great War. Where his cousin Overhaul was content to find a reliable job in the Transportation Guild, Brushguard felt he was destined for better things; he enrolled in the Cybertron Science Academy, where he quickly found a passion for the study of mechano-botany and Cybertronian geology. His research led him to a position in the Agricultural Guild, where he swiftly rose through the ranks, but Brushguard found the work much less glamorous than he had expected; much of his time was spent listening to the complaints of "yokel farmers" like Trac-Tor, something that Brushguard felt was beneath him.
Frustrated, Brushguard turned his talents to developing new botanical specimens with unique properties, which he presented to Ultra Magnus as part of a pitch for a new program of experimental weapons—but when Ultra Magnus refused to sign off on funding their development, Brushguard was left furious and disillusioned. Over the following orbital cycle, he could be heard complaining that the Autobots didn't recognise true genius, and suggesting he might take his talents to somewhere that would… and though I wouldn't care to speculate, the creeper bombs that Straxus deployed against dissidents on Lucifer only a few stellar cycles later did bear a close resemblance to the prototypes that Brushguard had created.
